India far better than Pakistan
by Rajaguru on Dec 29, 2007 03:13 AM

I think there is a fundamental contradiction leading to an uneding war between Pakistan's polity and its military. They dont coorperate with one another, rather target each other. A powerful third force wants its own share. Thankfully India has no such contradictions whatsoever. The roles of military, politicians, prime minister and the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces are well-defined here.

Instabilty-Role of USA
by subhro nathak on Dec 28, 2007 11:26 PM

Pakistan has the reputation of being a military dominated country. It was always known that whosoever takes a bold move towards democracy would risk his/her life.
I strongly feel USA has a lot to do with this. They want to show, rather tell the world that they had pursued Musharraf to commit to democracy, however the process failing due to the death of Benazir. In this way they can continue their fight against terrorists using Musharraf and then lateron on eradicating him when thay would have achieved their task.
In simple words, USA has been a selfish country and it would relate to Pakistan only as long as it has a vested interest in the form of Afganistan. Once OSAMA is caught they wouldnt care to bother about Pakistan or India as they have donein the past.

Who cares?!!!

Let Paki go to dogs!!!!! It is a failed state. US is trying to make sure the nuclear warheads are safely taken out before the vultures (Islamists) go for the rotting nation.
India has to keep it border safe and be prepared to take back its legitimate area of Kashmir.

Not a religious issue ; its a racial issue....
by Anurag Shrivastava on Oct 21, 2007 02:35 PM

The elite of Pakistan is made up of descendants of erstwhile Moghul/Turkish rulers who form the elite in Pakistan. This elite in Pakistan hankers for the the days of the glory of moghul/turkish rule when they formed the ruling class. This Pakistani ruling class has used religion for its own end while being educated in westernised convent schools of Murree ( like our Doon and Sanawar school ). They have used the people in North -West provinces - the Pathans and they have used the lower class muslims in Pakistan to forment trouble in India. The same have now turned against this elite now - the army and the upper echelons of bureaucracy/industry. The fight is not between Hindus and Muslims but between the white race ( turks/moghuls ) and other south asians.
