what u hav written is mostly true, but dont think that all people of WB r supporting these idiotic Communists. Most of the 'intellectual bhadralog' as u hav said hav left the state long time bak, only few r left.
It appears that people have short memory of killing of sikhs after killing of Indira Gandhi. People only talk of Gujrat and convenienly forget SIKH MASSACRE. Wake up man Wake up.

short memory of Sikh riots ? most of the juveniles on this forum were not even born then. It was some 23 years back ... different era , different people , different values and no mass media or channels.
The only way this world in general & India in particular could be better of is when the muslims understand that they have to reform their relegious philosophy of hate towards others. They have to understand that they - 1. Cannot convert every human on this earth to Islam- they could not do it when their sultans were powereful in medevial times, they could never dream to do so in todays world. 2. Arabs were crude nomadic tribals who fought among themselves all the time, therefore the same tribal philosophy is reflected in the teachings of Islam & these are not contemprory, they should realise that if a relgion becomes inflexible , it becomes brittle & will break down at one time. 3. The teachings of Islam were never localised to local cultures, but same Arabic mindset was forced on people everywhere, be it Asia, Africa or Europe. 4. Most importantly Muslims themselves are not oe people but different cultures, if they had been one then Bangladesh wold not have happened, Saudis & Musharaf would not have abondoned Taliban in Afghanistan & also Afghan invaders like Abdali would not have attacked Mughals in India, therefore it was always Human greed & ambition which led to some creative person interpreting relegious teachings in favaourable context to their personal benefit.
Therefore Indian Muslims should not be blind & learn from history & have commonsense enough to forego the path of strife in India . They should also prosper along with others peacefully in India.
