while on my way back to a holiday in DIGHA sea

beach in the Midnapore district of W.B. we parked midway on the highway for tea...

my father happens to be a political enthusiaist and he muttered some things with tea stall owner there... a bare chest human caricature...

he on knowing that this educated man from bengal is not a communist... confided

"GOD KNOWS WHEN WILL WE GET INDEPENDENCE" in a whispering tone..

they are more concerned about Gujarat where they do not ever get a single vote. Atleast in gujarat the government control is on whole state. Where BJP cadres do not have to recapture areas......commies have hundreds of goons attack and accoding to them liberate areas...never heard of such terminoology even in Bihar...commies are disgrace to Indians...

where is Thelka.......??

the commies should put in max effort like they did to get ganguly back in indian team to sort this problem before it gets out of hand. Looks like B'deshi muslims(illegal) are the squatters and the govt is paying for its misdeeds.maybe a few advisers from China will do the trick!!

There is a war going on between Jamait-E-Islami and Trinamul Congress on one side and the CPI(M) on the another side.
The government should send the army, but there is no action from the government. Thousands of people are now refugees, about 12 already dead, another 20 are seriously injured with bullet wounds.

West Bengal government asked for the Central Reserve Force, but the Congress Minister from West Bengal Priya DasMunshi is against it.

Thus innocent people are being killed in the crossfire between the two private armies.

First blame the people of West Bengal, they are the main reason why the commies are still in power.

Try to understand the situation. When thousands of CPI(M) supporters were driven out from their home, there was no report in the media. when they are fighting to come back to their homes it is a big crisis.
But where is the Army? Where is the Central Reserve Force, West Bengal government asked for it? So the situation got out of hand.
It is due to Trinamul Congress, because they are trying to capture that area just before the election, with the help of Jamait-E-Islami.
People of West Bengal continue to vote for the CPI(M) as there is no alternative.

Mr.Bose,People of West Bengal vote for the commies because they do not understand the words, democracy, progress, freedom of speech.Ten years from now West Bengal will be the poorest State in India.People of west Bengal of no vision at all.Alternatives are there in front of them, yet they refuse to open their eyes. The rest of India is progressing and the people of West Bengal refuse to see beyonf their state.Pity.

Bose Babu,Where is 60,000 strong West Bengal Police including 12 Battalions of State Armed Police ,3 Bns of Eastern Frontier Rifles and 2 Bns of India Reserve Bns.And if you include 28,000 strong Kolkata Police including 8 Bns of its Armed Police ,then why do you have to look for Central Forces? Why do you need Army when neither there has been a constitutional breakdown occurred ,where the 'government by law 'fails to carry out its mandated task nor martial law has been imposed?Has the Governor of West Bengal sent any report to Centre ?As a tax paying ,law abiding citizen of West Bengal why dont you ask these questions to the Government ,which took the office on oath owing allegiance to the Constitutional provisions.

Even if there will be another election, CPI(M)will win with a much bigger vote.
The problem is the lack of proper police, army or at least Central Reserve Force. The police force is thin, they cannot control the situation. The Congress will not send more resources, so the innocent people are getting killed.

Ruskel, blaming the centre again. What the West Bengal has achieved in 30 years. Hundreds of children died in a Govt Hospital in a single day. Have you ever visited any Govt Hospitals here? Even Your Party State Secretary Anil Biswas had been admitted to woodlands. In West Bengal common people have hardly any position to express their opinion, even police stations dare to take any complain against CPM leaders. Even in some occassions if you complain in courts against any CPM leaders wishes, you will be in big trouble. Please remember Mr. Bose Mr. Khokon sanajpati a leader close to CM even hacled a man in Jadavpore in broad daylight who complained in court about acquisation of his house by a CPM cadre saying " What CPM says is Law, What He says is the Law." Here in West Bengal even the result of Secondary and Higher Secondary exams are also controlled by the party. Students from remote areas always stood 1st or 2nd or 3rd to prove that education in village and remote areas has risen to a great heights. All walks of life there is party party and party which is dam lie. In problems peoples here are compelled to visit local Party office instead of Police stations.Dream of Promode Dasgupta!Talking about election. No fair election has taken place in West Bengal since 1987 only Gonda gardi. Local CPM cadres and leaders who hardly had any money to have a biri are now crorepati. What do you expect from them ?

Dada!
If ruling after 30 years ,you do not have "Proper Police",then who is to be blamed? You have one of the three biggest strength of the IPS cadre in the country, with only 18 districts, about 180 IPS officers on the pay rolls of the state government. With only one Bn of CRPF,with tired ,disgruntled men and untrained for working beyond a shift on the ground and highly cocked up officers as its leaders or a few 'columns' of Army you expect your problems of deep rooted polarisation in your society to be solved overnight? When you blame Gujrat ,UP & Bihar ,do you appreciate the malaises afflicting your own culture society?Should we be saying any more'What Bengal thinks today ,India thinks tomorrow?'Should we make Nandigrams all over?Gen Zia -ul-Haque would be all too happy in his grave. The ISI would not need to make any further efforts to put 'Operation Topaz'in practice.
