Another core corrupt regime with hard cord coterie culture!
by Libran on May 14, 2007 09:05 AM

This is really ugly stage for our democracy. We are jumping from pan to fire. No party is good. Some are corrupt than others. Mayavati is number one corrupt and number one in Coterie culture and Mulayam is number one Goonda in the country. Cong and BJP spent focrces with no Guts as far as UP is conncerned. I really pity UP. I wish some one like Nitish rises on the scene of UP. Though I don't subscribe to his ideology, I am his fan as he is doing great work given his circumstance.

Nobody can save UP - Mayawati or Mulayam. a state without hope. Let people fight caste wars and kill themselves. There will be fewer casteists left.

State plans fund for Christian pilgrims The government is allotting a budget for construction of churches
Deccan Chronicle
Hyderabad, Dec. 18: The State government would consider a subsidy for Christians to travel to Bethlehem, Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy said on Monday. Responding to Hyderabad Archbishop Marampudi Joji%u2019s request at the United Christmas Celebrations, Chief Minister Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy assured that the government would study the possibility and financial implications of such a subsidy.
At present, the government subsidises Muslim pilgrims to perform the Haj. Bishop Joji said, %u201CI visited the holy land and prayed at the place where Jesus was born. I request the government to assist Christians to fulfil their wish of making a pilgrimage to the holy land by subsiding the cost to some extent.%u201D
Dr Reddy replied, %u201CThe government is allotting a budget for construction of churches in towns and villages. While increasing the allocation we can adjust some money.%u201D On the issue of dalit Christians, Bishop Joji said, %u201CDalit Christians should be given SC status. I request the Chief Minister to get a resolution passed in the Assembly, as the UP Assembly has done, and send the recommendation to the Prime Minister, as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has done.%u201D Dr Reddy assured that he would examine the proposal. Bishop Sugandhar, legislator Christine Lazarus among others took part in the celebrations.

New CM

Mayawati, says she will work for the upliftment of backward communities. One important aspect to bring the backward communities is giving them literacy, making them educated will make them self and indepentend. So to give studies is one main aspect, but with Education going as business in India will she give reservation in universities and make free education for the backward classes to uplift them. If she does that then she has really worked for the Backward community, else it is just an eye wash.
