It seems the punishment has been given to him only because in a low in the Army ranks and he killed a superior. Nobody seem to understand what made him to kill the officer or why a Jawan should get death when a terror like Afzal Guru who attacked the Parliment is still living in jail eating dozens of rotis and chicken. It seems the Indian Armed Forces want to inculcate the dicipline into armed forces . It is right to punish the culprit but the same time it should look into the mental agony of the jawan who are not so litrate and resourcefull as an officer. If it goes on one way traffic no one like to venture to join the army.one should aware of this.
Since Behra was a Jawan and no public support for him, he can be easily be hanged to death.Thought he has risked his life to serve the country no one is bothered to think of his services.
Behra deserves death sentence to be honest to the country like India, though no one is interested to understand under what circumstance he had committed the offense.
I request the Same Judge to look into political matters of India too so that the judgment of several pending court decisions will expedite asap
I think if decisions are taken seriously all the Politicians, some of the IAS /IPS officers and Judges will should be hanged several times.

What ever are the circumstances, murder of your colleagues / seniors are not at all allowed. After all this is Indian Army and not Pakistan Army, we want discipline. I support the judgement

If i am not mistaken, the president has already dismissed the mercy plea of Afzal guru. He will be hanged sooner or later.
I support the judgement of the Army. After all its not only the Jawans who are stressed out or depressed. even the officers are stressed out with long hours of duties, no families in kashmir, living in tents / make shift houses etc and being paid very very low salaries for all their effort and life risking job.

now the discussion is who are the culprits- whether the ugly officers who did it or the brave journelist who exposed it thru hidden cams- it seems there are many to advocate culprits in the name of 'right for privacy'- very strange stage of affairs!

Respected sir, I'm serving in Army since last 9 years. I know Sepoy Behra was gilty and he had broken the rules and regulations of the prestagious Indian Army. Judgement is right. But why you have not thinking abount curruption and malpractice and dectatership like Hitler in 99% Officers in Indian Army. when you will came again to power please order a court of enquiry of Indian Army about curruption by "ganeshjaihind"

Dear Khan Saab, If we need to hang modi, then surely you need to have atleast 1Crore Zallads in India to hang same kind of culprits. People do not cast votes to the right person, they cast votes based on Religions / Cast etc. This is the main problem. Next time when you vote, vote for the right person and believe me - if one person will start changing the system, one day the whole system will get changed.
