It should be known to every one that in the past religious feelings were never he reason for human security.
But now even a child can use weapons to kill or destroy. The necessity to protect one's own country against any kind of abuse of through terror, becomes the essential criterion to track the identity of any one living or moving any where in any country......children,.....men.....or women.
We respect our selves by respecting others n legal as well as security matters. Why do we submit ourselves for personal checks and scans , even the pupil?
This is a requisite now intthe present day security scenario all over the world......Thanks to terrorism!

It is a frivolous way of showing superiority by one of the white nations. It is also interference in following (and practising) Sikh faith which embodies all good points of other religions. Ratnajayant must realise that five K's and turban helps recognising a sikh even from a distance.Modern methods can detect any offensive materials through metal detectors and X-Rays whether a person wears a turban or not. Historically,The Tenth Guru made it mandatory for all practicing sikhs to have this identity to make them valiant fighters from cowards to fight injustice and tyranny during Mughal Rule.

You forget that for the Sikhs, the turban, is the very part of the dress, mandated by the religion implicity through keeping of their hair. For more than 500 years Sikhs have been wearing it, and now a country is asking the Sikhs to change their tradition. This is genocide.

When the cowards needed a army to protect, Sikh (with Turban) was there to protect the helpless. I suggest you go and look at some history. As Mr.Gill explained Turban is part of a Sikhs dres to cover unshorn hair. Also look at what Sikhism is, before you give a opinion on it.
