There are no other ppl on this board to watch "fun" other than you, kris and John.
If I manage to change the hearts of even one of you my life would be successful

Hindus did the same to women and dalits.
Women were burnt in the name of Sati.

How about the magical acts of Krishna and Rama, their airplane and celestial weapons?

How about the fathering of Pandavas? there is so much jink in Hindu scriptures too.

Christian scriptures are full of junk, I wont deny. But the appeal of christianity is beyond what is written in the scriptures.

Maligning a benign and vituous religion like that will not help anybody. Join a church first and then say how you feel after 6 months

Can u point me to the verses in Rigved ?? Just telling that something is in the vedas or puranas doesn't make any sense to me, because most of the ppl here are not experts in vedas or thier interpretation - you have to tell the exact verses - which I can verify. I would suggest all hindus to not get carried away by what the Xtians tell abt our scriptures and do the investigation yourself, by doing some google search and read the explaination for the verses by an authentic swamiji and not that of some western researcher who did the research with some church funding.

That was the Lord's sacrifice!

Christianity extols personal sacrifice.

Oh! VHP, RSS and Bajrangdal are full of homosexuals and criminals. the temple priests are no less corrupt. Dont forget the DEVDASI tradition where the hindu priests designed a legal right to rape children

Less than 1% of the priests have been involved in abuse.

You just dont get it. It is not about God or morals. It is all about building a community that looks after each other. People get attracted to Christianity not because of God or morals but the community which provide a much better support structure than Hinduism. Religious discourses address people directly and talk in a language that everyone understands unlike Hinduism where everything is ritual based.

Unless and until you understand this you will stay bewildered with the large number of ppl steadily converting into Christianity.

Think of Why ISKON achieved greatest succes in spreading their voice. Because they adopted Christian methods and tactics.

Where did u get the statistics ?? Devadasis are not meant to be prostitutes, even though it has degraded to that in the last few centuries. Devadasis are meant to be in the temples and thier main work is worshipping god through "Dance" and the famous Indian Classical Dance of Bharatanatyam was practised by them.

U talk of corrupt priests ?? Hahaha Christianity beats everyone thumbs down. How abt the deaths of 1000 ppl in the Catholic Healing Center in Kerala in the last 11 yrs. How abt the recent rape of 4 nuns in Madhyapradesh by the priests and the church was quick to point out fingers at VHP but it was clearly proved tht the rape was by christians themselves and the Nuns withdrew the case later. Why is it that the allegations on VHP were made big, but not the actual investigation revealations which proved the christians were actual culprits ?? Media is biased as usual. Look at the no.of cases in US alone on sexual abuse of kids by pastors :-)
Remember the episode of the sabarimala temple where the christian goons tried maligning the name of the head priest's son (the future head priest) by taking photos of him with a prostitute, didn't the investigations done by a christian DIG proved that the christians were involved ?? Why silence on that case ?? How abt the 2 rapes of tribal women committed by GrahamStaines were never issues, but the killing of him by DaraSingh became a big issue ??
