Dr. Kalam's vision is spot on.. A gradual urbanization of India will increase prosperity - most urban centers have a higher average income than rural areas around the world... Of course Indian auth ori ties have to do their job as well. suresh ram kansas

Urban Indians need to change their attitude
by Lucky B on Jul 29, 2007 03:30 AM  | Hide replies

Urban people are egoistic and uncivilized compare to rural Indians.

Rural Indians feed the whole India by providing grains, fruits, vegetables and what not. In return Urban population thinks Rural Indians are plain stupids and uneducated people living in 16th century.

Followers of "Westernisim" have great disrespects for followers of real Indians.

OK, so it's not like nobody cares about the poor. You care! Hope you find more support and your visions are materialized. God bless!

Our nation building....
by Rangasamy Vijay on Jul 28, 2007 05:48 PM

Our nation building must start from the villages through panchayats.. Rajiv was right to work towards that goal but was abruptly snatched away from life. If only we can see thousands of village panchayats managing their needs adequately supported by state and central gov. thru programmes like PURAS, we can really reach our vision of 2020. Unfortunately too much stress is on now for state or central level control which leads to immense corruption, favouritism etc.. Do not forget there are plain , unassuming real leaders in the villages who can really lead their own village to prosperity. There must be drastic change in our democratic set up which can be achieved by selfless leaders - definitely by these minority appeasing psedo secular parties, phoney communists, atheists - all these old twigs must fall apart in our march to propsperity..

Old man has no ears...
by Rangasamy Vijay on Jul 28, 2007 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

Our old man CM in T.Nadu has no ears for PURAs. He will think it is another epic from hindu puranas and will start working against it with a full force. He has no time even to settle his own family squabbles or dynasty rule as though they are all rajas or dreaming to become a statesman or another silly freebies for teh gullible public!!... PURA will not ring anything in his ears...T Nadu is a spent knowledge surviving on past glory...
Please try some other sensible states. Looks as if Bihar is improving.. better chance there with a receptive CM & workforce.

I am sure the old man is scared of Kalam thats why he prevented the second term, if he had put his foot down for Kalams second term I dont think Sonia or Left would have opposed it. But this not new, Karunanidhi ever since he got the bashing from MGR in those 30 years in election has always been afraid of charismatic perosnalities. Even though he is one himself to a certain degree, He could never appreal to rural voters as MGR would, and it was the educated people who always voted for Karunandhi all the time but that was never going to be enough right. But you are right Tamilnadu is a spent knowledge surviving on past glory, we just dont have the leaders and CMs like Kamaraj anymore. We are left with a old fox who cant think straight and another lady fox who is hell bent on destroying the DMK after the old fox dies.

no one would be scared of Kalam .. Kalam is not the scary type.

I am glad that Kalam is out of Rashtrapati Bhawan, and is doing what he enjoys most.

Till last week these NDA supprters were praising Dr. Kalam like anything and now suddenly he has become just another Muslim for these people. Interesting. Again they proved that they cannot think beyond religion. I am not able to differentiate between a Muslim fundamentalist and these RSS people. Both r dangerous.
