When You See A Cop On The Road ... Keep Away From Him ... Remain Safe.

If Haneef had been arrested by the India Police ... he would have rotted in jail for over a year atleast ... and his relatives would have been moving with a group of lawyers from one court to another.

In India, the police NEVER admit they have made a mistake and let go a man easily ... they charge you under some law, file the case in the court and thereafter, you run in courts for 10s of years.

I am at present fighting a case in 4 courts, in a bogus case filed against me ... In HC I am pursuing case against Police for wrongful arrest ... want them punished ... but the courts are never keen to punish the cops ... therein lies the problem ... they are allowed to get away ....

If interested read about my court battles, against the Police in India:

And pray to God, to keep you away from the police ... When you see a cop on the road, cross the road, run away from him ...do not make any eye contact with him... Remain safe.

Indur..you are absolutely correct!

If Haneef was in India and they found out that he was innocent while in custody they would have planted some evidence at his house and made sure somebody got convicted for media coverage and to show they are not sitting around at the local restaurant sipping chai and smoking cigarettes. Good luck with your case! Hope you win and hope all the wrongfully accused people who are usually the ones with no connections and are poor. Being poor in India is a crime. I have seen with my own eyes the so called police beating up relentlessly on a poor hardworking rickshawaala for not obeying the traffic signal while the gentle man in the mercedes next to him casually did the same thing without being questioned. I always wanted to do something for the poor in India. I will once I have enough to accomplish it.
