is this for real?
by humanist on Jul 06, 2007 04:06 PM  | Hide replies

Whenever a matter of national importance comes up everyone starts cursing communists - As if communists are reason of all world problems - you people seems to be barking at wrong tree knowingly with some selfish agenda.

Now, when compared to some other parties communists seems fair better.

Its time to think about impact of extreme capitalistic ideologies on culture and tradition of societies and populations in general. Communist states failed only because their dump leaders put forward same policies used by current day extreme capitalists.

Most young people here seems to have only knowledge about failed communist states in world. They dont know about a feel of equality and social values this ideology bought in many countries.

eg., Why communists gained Kerala - for that one have to know history of that region - how one religion made it to 'mad state' as described by our own Swami Vivekananda. Its well know who took that state forward in to its current glory - atleast in some fields.

Abul Kalam is a great scientist but a failed politician. He failed on that single issue - parliamentary attack case.

Now all Indians want a women president. If they oppose women president they are bad. Now, if they support, then also they are bad ?

For last very few decades people are slow on thinking radically. Thats what I feel. What a pity...

Go and read a variety of books. Not books put forward by vested interests. The writer you talk about is infamous in many circles.

fyi, She once wrote India took over of Goa in an act of aggression. Now, do you support her ?

Communism is Mind control at its worst
by Balu Anand on Jul 06, 2007 03:30 PM

MRV,

Normally, when a person claims to oppose something, he gets a vested interest in the very same thing. If you see carefully, the commies are classical examples of this. First they claim that they are atheists and oppose religion, but their very methods are based on mind control of the masses by a few.(Note that one old communist whom we are all sick and tired of seeing meddling around in our politics , faithfully wears a turban and other signs according to the religious tenets.) Next they claim that they are for the poor and unemployed and they ensure that poverty and unemployment always exist. This is because their own existence depends on these two.

The Indian communists are one step ahead. They are 'oh!so apologetic' about being Indians. Regarding your comment about Indians being not nationalistic for the last 1000 years, I would say the situation will not change unless we boot out the leftists and marxists who have abrogated for themselves the right to write the history of India. So you would find these worthies informing you that Rama lived in Egypt and Saraswati river was a lake in central Asia and defending the now discredited Aryan Invasion theory only because Karl Marx had said India has a history of invasions.

They are classical examples of those who give responsibility without authority to others but want authority without accountability for themselves. It is time we all educated the people in India about this cancer.

Rediff should post this

I fail to understand the rhetoric against President Kalam by communists. He is a person of great values. He is a motivator, is an educationist par excellence and above all spiritual. He established a work culture in DRDO and put India into the big league of nations. No doubt other scientists were involved in his pious work from time to time.
Communists have systematically removed opposotion from West Bengal. A person of 25 yrs in West Bengal knows nothing beyond communism since his birth. A whole generation is bereft of mature political thought. What a shame? Who are fascists then?
Communists harp on fear and poverty of the illeterate masses.

The author in his drunken stupor has forgotten that RSS and communists colluded to sabotage Quit India movement.Communists not being strong at that time, it was mainly RSS wallahs who sabotaged Gandhi and later contributed to his murder.

Oh Siva - it seems you are ignorant of both Indian and RSS History. Do you know how old is RSS? It only started its activities in the year 1925 with a handful of youths? How you can think that the RSS can grow gygantically so as to spread its tentacles with any other powers to sabotage any movement. During Quit India Movement and also now RSS is fully engaged in strengthening its organisation. Before passing any remarks try to read and understand RSS? Otherwise you would pose yourself a fool before the common public

Re: Communism in India...

The worst performing states in India today are in the control of those political parties that play poverty and vote-bank politics, aka Communist Parties and other like RJD. It is high time that the Congress and BJP realize that the worst enemies of the state lie within, i.e. the Communists and the third front. Better to collude against the internal enemies first and clean up the mess before fighting external enemies. It is always wise to get rid of internal weakness before facing the enemies, else Sun Tzu's wisdom may prevail in India with full force. Don't underestimate the damage already done by these communists.
