Noida killings

Sadly crimes against children seem to be on the rise.

A clear reflection of the sick society we live in.

The victims from poor families will hopefully receive justice thanks to the Media.

My heartful thanks to the media for the efforts to bring the killer of Jessica Lall, and Priyadarshini Matoo to justice. Next is the turn to bring to book the killers of Nitesh Katara. May they be awarded the death penalty without appeal, and their families made to witness the hanging and suffer the trauma that the murdered victims families were subjected to.

We have had enough of crime , corruption and lack of governance.

May the laws of our land change, to be more intollerant of such crimes.

Meanwhile, I am sure there are political parties wanting to take mileage out of this, and will indulge in some stupid act like dharnas, mobbing, stone pelting and ask for the immediate dismissal of the goverment, chief minister, and all and sundry. They should be thankful that it was not their children who were kidnapped, abused, probably beheaded and then disposed of like animals. This is children we are talking about. If the political parties have any shred of shame or humanity left in them, they will assist in the inviestigation, and not throw a wrench into the works.
BUT WHO AM I KIDDING??????????

I will be very surprised if any of the people involved in this case are ever brught to justice. It is enough to note that in the past year so many children have gone missing, and there has been no action taken. It is obvious that the children involved were probably poor, and their parents could not afford to spend money searching for them, not to mention the fact that the police probably ignored, or worse still, even refused to lodge complaints in spite of the alarming rate of disappearance.
What will happen is that the government will hand out some cash compensation, "look" after the families for a while, pretend to search for evidence, question some of the people involved, some money will exchange hands, and everything is back to normal. Worse, the case will drag on for 10-15 years, by which time probably parents would have given up any hope.
If the government really wants to assuage the people, then it should immediately place all the cops in the said area under suspension, till the case is resolved.
And make every evidence public.
