JUDICIARY OF INDIA IS THE SOLE CAUSE OF FAILURE OF DEMOCRACY FRUITS REACHING COMMON MAN
by varghese on Feb 01, 2007 03:51 PM

Democracy fruits has failed to reach each and ever common man in India because we got a weak corrupt, slow and corrupt judiciary.

In India we have crores of cases pending from when india got independence justice is totall denied in india by the Judiciary.

To prove blood is red in india will take atleast 10 Yrs.
No one in India trusts the judiciary none..the reason is it passes judgements which will never see the light of the day ,the judiciary in india is the most corrupt organization,no one in india is secure thanks to this corrupt body.
we have excellent judges like jethmalani and his tribes who will prove blood is black colour.
Almost all the judges in india are political appoitees who cannot even pass a simple judgement a day.
A shame to mother India is its Judiciary who denies each day the common man his freedom and faith in democracy.
The Judicairy cannot even provide securit to a single person how horrible is the condition of the witneesses, how frightening is the fate of the witness ...

I'm agree with you.

As the victims of Nethari are not from hi-fi class so media can't play a bugal against Moninder, Surendra and so many persons involved (may be some doctors also) in the raket.

Hope that, justice will come SOON for all the people who suffered in one or the other incident.

Some tonic shall be dispensed for all those personnel sitting in the power of justice.

Punishing the witnesses
by ravi prakash on Feb 01, 2007 03:18 PM

In the Jessica Lal murder case, the main accused has been punished but the case of the hostile witnesses as an accompanying side show would have a very significant impact on the way future criminal cases would be tried.
The witnesses in this case have not been let
off but by the same token the concerned investigative officers of the police also should not be let off because the testimonials of these witnesses had not been used properly to make their case foolproof in the first place.
As a natural followup to this side show, the court must also issue notices of explanation on the investigation officials also.
Without it, punishing the witness as a sequel to a criminal case will ruin the prosecution's will to book the criminals and deal a body blow to the rickety criminal-justice system in India.

It's all because of public pressure and high profile case.
There is no justification in re-opening the case once verdict has been given.

Its a good strategy by the court and with right timing. This would not have worked earlier, now with changed cicumstances, these same witnesses need not fear the accused and have to come clean.

Jessica non bailable warent against Witness
by aditi ravi on Feb 01, 2007 02:09 PM  | Hide replies

Even the Indian Judiciary sleeps and wake up on Public demand rather than justice. There is no justice in India, its all a money game, money can do any thing , every high profile judgment in the recent time has proven it. They Punish once , the next day punishment is pardoned and criminal is on loose. Because money plays not justice

i know its all money but we are also a part of corruption...we want our work done then and there instead of getting it done in the normal process.so we all have to wake up and resolve this never ending issue.

This would go a long way in helping criminal justice. Question is why it took so long for the courts to follow this!

India is a psudo (a.k.a votebank) democracy...meaning by the powerful and rich for the powerful and rich and of the powerful and rich. The jugdement like this and the one in the Reservation issue are like a breez of fresh air amidst rotten and polluted air.
