India better take China seriously
by apjunkmail on Dec 27, 2007 08:41 AM

India better take China seriously and prepare accordingly . Freedom is not Free you have to fight for it ALL THE TIME. Build roads in the hills and deploy nuclear weapons and others to keep the dragon at bay. You cannot base your security on the goodwill of others. Like armed people behave so to nuclear armed countries.

India Chna border issues?
by Samay Niti on Dec 26, 2007 01:44 PM

When China raises border issues with India, India always plays second fiddle. In the 1962 war with China made a point that they want to usurp a part of Indian land and they did it by killing a few of the Indian army. Why does India give in? Do our Parliamentarians have any guts? Why can't they just say "lay off"? Instead the Indian government do not utter a word when China shouts "Arunachal Pradesh is a part of India". Can we expect Madam Sonia to cry that "maut ka saudagaris not in India but outside - who are our neighbours!

The only solution
by Vijay urf Teesmaar Khan on Dec 26, 2007 01:38 PM

The only solution to India-China border issue is that we should ask them to give full autonomous status to Tibet. I mean first get Tibet free from hands of china. Then we will not have to deal any border issue with them.
Nehru was a foolish to let China took over Tibet. We should correct this huge mistake.

After seeing the performance of Indian side in joint military exercise, perhaps China force to think for solving the border issues through dialogue.

Mr. Tan. You are too dumb. China is a superpower; and India is also a superpower. Today, India is absolutely capable of nuking the whole of China; exactly the way the China is capable of. Whether you follow One China Policy, or One-and-a- Half China Policy, we are least bothered. But we will teach you a fitting lesson with a terrible recoil if attacked.

Mr. Blogman. China is not USA with a large distance from India. Today, the worst-case scenario means a totally destroyed India AND China. Our missile capabilities are quite adequate to destroy China ONCE. Overkilling is pointless. Even Pakistan and North Korea are to be feared for similar reasons. That is the reason, civilized countries talk of detente, not war.

China Can't be Trusted

Friends: Chinese preach platitudes to the world regarding peaceful settlement, but react violently when our own concept of peace is told. India should be careful with such guys, who can never be trusted.

Mr. Blogman: Even if we give away Arunachal Pradesh, they will demand Uttar Pradesh later on, citing some 1550 Ching Cheng Chow Dynasty Map. The Chinese are greedy folks.

I have read the wikipedia article, there is no mention of china's claim on Arunachal Pradesh. If the chinese don't respect their international boundaries that does not mean we should start giving them our territories.
