Where is Teesta Setalvad, who comes out in full force whenever any Muslim terrorist is even slightly apparently affected and she can start attacking Hindus in the name of her organizations with respectable names, but secret agendas against Hindus, like "Citizens for Peace and Justice", "Human Rights Watch", etc., when Taslima is suffering badly from human rights violations BY THE STATE? This proves that her organisations which are funded by the US anti-Hindus (Christians in the US, basically) are not genuine human rights organisations, and so they should be thrown out of India for cheating Indian people, and taking them for a ride.. Hey, Teesta, if you are seeing this, tell us where you are.. Taslima is suffering human rights violations at the hand of the STATE (Congress, Sonia).. She has made less mistake than Husain, because, Husain prepared filthy pictures, but Taslima only used workds, and Husain paints filthily only about gods of another religion (that is the Hindu religion, against which you are working) and not about his own gods or not even about Jesus, but Taslima has given her ideas about HER OWN RELIGION.. TEESTA, COME OUT NOW,... OR GET OUT OF INDIA.. WE ARE SICK OF SUCH FOREIGN FUNDED FILTHY AGENTS TAKING INDIANS FOR A RIDE...
I fully agree with Mr. Pranab. The question now is not Sonia, Taslima, Muslim or conversion. But its the question of Peace in India. Whatever and whoever comes against it should be condemned and deported. If she is continue to become a controversial figure and go on utter provocative statements for her selfish benefits it should be strictly stopped by sending back to square one. She should not be allowed to disrupt the peace in India by making statements and books. One cannot understand the so called intellectuals%u2019 support to this controversial figure. There are so many intellectuals and writers in India, why they are not taking such style of (Taslima)' writing. This is very sad that in the name of religion people are dividing each other. This type of instigations should be stopped at ones by the administration very strictly. What%u2019s the fun in making statements and counter statements in the name of not so important issue like %u2018Taslima%u2019, Since we have many number of serious issues to deal with. Our politicians and administrators should utilize the time wisely for the benefit of the people whom they selected to the position of ministers etc.. Its high time that we should stop fighting each other on a non-issue like %u2018TASLIMA%u201D. We don%u2019t want to divide the country in the name of this issue. Let us think about the unity of India. Let not these politicians take advantage of such circumstances for their vote bank politics. Its important to note

Pranab who still cant forget his Bangladesh accent should hang his head in shame. After all it is his Bengali Hindu brothers dehumanized by mullahs in Bangladesh about who she has written. The spineless commies and escapees from E Bengal who are in the upper echelons of power in WBengal had a duty to ensure Bengali Hindus in E Pakistan are at least treated like human beings. Hindus in Pakistan were ethnically cleansed by the dogs of Yahya Khan in 1971 and we saw no Bengali Bagha Jatin speaking on their behalf. These cowards like Pranab would stay mum if MF Hussan shows Durga copulating with a bull, and Arundhati Ray would be crying hoarse when US kicks terrorist ass in Afghanistan. Bangladesh was a part of undivided India. She has much more rights in India than Sonia who would not take Indian citizenship for 15 years. She has no freedom of expression in Bangladesh. She has every right to be in India.

Division, terrorism, violence start with the mind -- the roots of which are in 'organized religion'. Unless the mind is cleared, and majority of people find clarity and purpose in life by pursuing knowledge and excelling in skills, and figuring out interdependent ways of coexistence, to develop their own -- body, mind, emotions, intellect, creativity & consciousness -- through art, science, research, technology, education, sports, films, music, athletics so on and so forth -- such time-wasting activities will going on and on. Saying that this religion stands for peace, that stands for equality, that stands for justice -- is just hallucination and folling oneself. Most so-called religion people, suffer from poor self-concept and lead a miserable life and put it out on others as well in the name of self-righteousness and false ego.

Your left, liberal and scientific approach makes good sense but leaves unresolved why these religions came in first place and why so many great and profound minds were imbued with it.
However, as you said it for a healthy self-concept the pre-condition is such secular acceptance. The unresolved, irreducible personal experience of religion can be confined to privacy of personal space. This separation of religion from state was clearly understood by truly religious people like Gandhiji, Rajaji, Maulana Azad, K M MUnshi, Ambedkar and most stalwarts of freedom movement era who founded the secular Indian Constitution. While the atheists be it Jinnah or the Hindutva brigade which sought Islamic state or Hindu Rashtra.
It seems, as may late teacher Fr Gilson said, religion is needed for genuine secular practice!

I agree.Pranab should stop issuing threats and start to behave as a responsible minister. The fact that he is speaking like a hooligan speaks volume of the commie influence.
Besides, india is not his private kingdom. I cant beleive we have morons like this in the Govt. He is giving a wrong impression to the world, not to mention the hurt he is causing to this lady.
If he is trying to scare her, shame on him and this congress gov. Hope we can get rid of this spineless congress in the next election.

but as of now she is burden on all states ???? do u know y ???????? no body want to loose muslim votes ..... painter hussain drawn his mom so badly and singers like nusrat fate ali and adnan sami found themsevle highly talented indian singer but they all stayed/looted in india without any problem,,, no voices for such stupids
