Wake up politicians
by SREEDHAR KODALI on Aug 30, 2007 02:15 AM

CM of Andhra Pradesh needs to get serious atleast now.The incident has moved hearts of all the people in the country, how can any one kill innocent people like this, do that innocents know that they will be killed on that day, the only crime they did was to go to lumbini park to enjoy the lazer show and know the history of hyderabad, and to go to gokul chat to enjoy with there families,if we are not having any security in the heart of the city what is the use for all these politicians to be seated in there respective seats and rule.Ultimately it is always the common who suffers not the leaders, again there is a need of Bhagat singh or Subash Chandra Bose to come and eradicate these terrorism. While the people are suffering these dirty politicians are fighting for there seats.May god bless the soul of all the people who died in bomb blast to rest in peace

Indias progress could be halted by Islamic terrorists???
by Checkthis on Aug 30, 2007 01:41 AM  | Hide replies

As Foreign Corporation's assests increase in India (IBM/SUN/CISCO) the western world is worried whether India has the political means and resources to control terrorists activities that could harm these corporations... Foreign think tanks like Brookings Institute in USA are predicting worst case scenarious.

One of them is that Indians will NOT be able to control Islamic Fundamentalism. Also with increase influence of Muslims in Bollywood the probability of money spreading to the fundamentalist is incresing exponentially. Some of the Indian corporations which are listed on Indian stock exchange could also be the source of money to Islamic fundamentalist in India.
One of the hypothetical scenario is the current richest person from India who is a Muslim could spin of multiple ventures. Some of the Islamists could benefit who could in turn fund more terrorists activities against Indians as well as foreign assest.

They are worried that Indian Muslims could mesh with HIndus and sell sensitive technologies to the Middle East which could be threat to India as well as rest of the world..

Finally Chinese could fund Muslim fundametalists who in turn will push back the policies of the Indian Government. Chinese could invest in corporations owned by Indian Muslims that are looking out for buying western and other Indian corporations. They could use these assets to fund terrorists activities in India and keep its progress in check...

Hello SAMEER, The guy has a point. Also he is already metioning that this is a speculation. What if the Indian Muslim terrorists really have solid funding then don't U think it could be a much bigger problem like the Lal Masjid?

Dear Bhumiputra,
If you have any proof that a particular person has connection to terrorists, you must contact law enforcement agencies. In fact that is your legal responsibility as an Indian citizen. Accusing someone without any proof a libel.

To cooperate, help, sympathize or hide any terrorists is not in the best interest of Indian muslims. I am sure it is a tiny minority.

Me The Greatest
catch the culprits
by Me The Greatest on Aug 30, 2007 12:20 AM

only solution is diligently hunting down the real culprits and prosecute them at the earliest.

only then, the people harbouring them will be afraid of the law and people will have faith in justice.

on the other hand, it is very essential to make sure than innocents (mostly muslims) are not harassed. it just increases the apathy of ordinary people towards legal process and makes the work of law enforcement agencies more difficult.

no law enforcement agency can work without the support of common man, but they have lost the confidence of ordinary people.

who can revitalize the real detection process?

Atleast some one finally out there who is not into glorifying the all hype CBN.

people with no knowledge ,biases, prejudices tend to praise personality based party leaders.

Tell any one to look at the macro economic indicators of andhra pradesh after CBN 's rule and they will be shocked to know in many of them A.P stands in the bottom 5 in the indian states.Welfare which reaches to poor or the water infrastructure that YSR is working on does not show up (It is not just a road or 2 in Hyderabad .it involves land aquisition ,rehabilitation etc.)when some one visits Hyderabad. You got to go to villages to see the tangible benefits.many of the People do not know whom to give credit also and for what? For example How many people give credit to P.Chidambaram for what he is doing than giving credit to Manmohan singh alone. If he has done the reforms on whole sale basis ,P.C also has done a great deal in taking them far ahead. In India many people fail to attribute any thing correctly bcoz that is not always backed by reason and critical analyses but backed by biases, prejudices. How many people know that When CBN was in power there never used to be any debate in the public domain but unilateral decisions always. The case in point is Outer ring road, water projects, bhoo poratam, all of them are for a debate and public consumption where CPI(M) is getting all the mileage from.S o guys think over.May be this is a forum for venting out anger. But a

YSR interview is vague
by slicktiger on Aug 30, 2007 12:08 AM

YSR says that there is no local involvement in Hyderabad attacks. This statement is false and irresponsible.Reactive to the violence he once said 'It is happening in Newyork and London and so It could happen in Hyderabad too'. It is a shame to give such statements being in that position. USA and UK are directly involved in war against terrorism and spending billions of dollars towards the cause. Mr. YSR , what kind of war is A.P or to be precise Hyderabad is fighting with Jihadis ? Perhaps ,the only statement that could be true in the whole interview Mr. YSR gave is 'People have grown over that age of going into communal violence'.People are also smart enough to understand your political interests !!
