surprised that none from SCO making first move, to offer irressitable counter-offers...Russians and Chinese, known for their indepdent foreign policies, could definitely add strength to India, 360 degrees...China being our neighbour, is definitely a good partner if we understand them properly, inspite of their much written deceptiveness/ hindi-chini betrayal...Russia and China with their size, military-clout, power and massive-resources, could be a good value-add, long-term partner...India has a cris-crossed interests...have no threats, economical-regional, perceived, to take extra pre-caution or worry about...strategists use the word "ISI" and "Pakistan" to influence foreign policies...and now "China", as if "ISI" isnt scary-enough:-)...Japanese economy built on fine economic principles of yester-year may come handy with its technological-advancement and know-how...least to offer in terms of market-size for Indian goods...may be Japanese may have lotsa good-will for India...anyways, now-a-days, foreign policy is becoming prime subject, for reasons best known to god...it use to be a subject kept on back-burner, with common worried nothing abt it...India could network with SCO and Japanese...unless something forces us to make a choice...that leaves with pakistan, showing active aggression towards India, fed and supported by detractors of India...world countries know that hostile/ massive chinese dragon can cause many tsunamis if anybody were to harm it...they see a potential p

Let us loose oil contracts, let us loose electricity, let us loose investment. We tell sovereignity & loose the items. Let the foreign Terrorism outfits concentrate on well-being of a particular interest in the region & let our left-party leaders also help. We loose investment etc.

Japan-India limits of convergence

Who's going to rush to invest in India? Even if they make 'deals' with the federal govt, the plants and factories etc still must go in some state, and with most state govts being run by power-hungry dictatorial egotistcal dingbats like Maya et al, even when approval is given what's to keep these self-aggrandizng morons from shutting you down on a whim, like Reliance, Coke etc. There are far easier and friendlier places to invest one's money, so even with all this talk of great 'potential', investors will just put money in the stock market, which in additon to securing them some quick profits, also allow them a quick exit at the first sign of trouble.
So all this talk of huge investments will only remain just that - talk!
