How dare he can disrespect his own country police? he may disrespect indian police also!

Why is it that you guys actually want Dr. Haneef to be guilty ? We should give him benefit of doubt, until he is proved guilty he is innocent. This is the legal doctrine which has been put in after considerable thought. We all know that sometimes police may not act in the best interests of the people. So we should let the courts decide whether guilt is proved or not, these are not the witch trials of medieval ages. We should all remember what is happening to him can happen to anybody anywhere, thus some consideration should be given to a person as a human being and not be judged on his religious identity. Australia has a fair and unbiased legal system, and we all should hope and pray that the Justice is done in the end.

As you said the police may not be right all the time.
The hall mark of a good democracy is a informed and thinking populace; the model of unthinking obeying serf suits the commie model better.

Innocent till proved guilty is for the routine run of the mill criminal who cheats, steals or kills for simple reasons, and who normally works alone or in small groups and leaves a big trail behind. How can you treat jihadi terrorists, suicide bombers and ruthless mass killers in the name of religion, for perceived hurts. You must have a sense of proportion and treat ordinary criminals and terrorists differently. They are prepared to kill hundreds by exploding themselves.

A thorough investigation needs to be done on Hanif. He has escaped the Aussie police as Indian leadership was putting so much pressure on them. But at home he needs to be handed to CBI for questioning. Let the truth prevail. We can trust the word from CBI.
