People do work for the nation w/o any selfishness, they did lot of sacrifice to make the nation strong & living with freedom. Mahathma Gandhi, now another. Let us celebrate in grand manner. The people who do sacrifice for the nation like our Military soliders doesn't expect anything in return, but it is our duty to celebrate.

Gandhi and Nehru are great. But so are others. Have u heard of revolt in 1945 by sailors across country to overthrow British rule. Congress has gone against them including Nehru and Gandhi. but have u ever read this. No because all NCERT books are written in their favour. Even I learned about that revolt after 30 years.
Those revolutionaries were jailed in 1945 after sacking from Amry/Navy. Nehru refused to take them back when India got Independence.
Indian is NOT independent. Angrez has left but still their servants (Nehru/family) are ruling us... We need complete independence where a farmer and a worker right would always be on the top..
So pathetic is the way we indians treat our citizens from the north east.I understand that they represent only 3% of the popoulation but they are one of us.There should be some kind of a industrial corridor connecting calcutta to all the north eastern states.Economic integration is a must
Also indians should stop calling them and treating them like foreigners.I find it insulting to call a northeasterners chinkis or nepalese.Thats a common practise all over india.North indians abuse south indians and south indians,north indians and the entire india abuse north east.Its pathetic.No wonder there is NSCN-IM,Kanglaipan,ULFA and all the crap in there.Missionary money to north east should be banned.

Why the hell should Missionary money be banned to North India? You acknowledge the abuse my politicians and common people alike and at the same time do not want them to receive any assistance from missionaries. What a typical dirty rightwing Hindu mindset!
India is a free country. Everyone has a right to advertize and preach their own religion and ideology. If actions of missionaries are deceitful just due to their advertizing campaign alone then so are the actions of many companies advertizing their products! If you want to beat missionaries, first provide a better alternative to people.

Christianity is a foreign religion and should be treated so. We cant give full freedom for the spread of this cancer in the name of secularism. Hinduism in inherently secular not christianity, for you wouldnt have seen christians in India.
India is under agression by christian missionaries at the behest of foreign powers. Read for yourself

India is not a hindu rashtra. It is a secular country. Hindus have a right to convert to any other religion and belong to India.

MAybe you havent read the preamble of Indian constitution. Its not the same as pakistan or any "stan". India a secular republic. Its a state with out religion. Nepal is a hindu kingdom, maybe you can find refuge there. Indian belongs to Indians not hindus,muslims,christains,nepali,madrasi etc. Its people like you who dont let this country come out of drak ages or communilism and ignorance. Like missionaries who propagate their religion, the swami's can do the other religions. Its a free country.

Somil, No need to get excited. We should all work together so that one day we can remove the term 'Secular' from our constitution and officially declare it a 'Hindu' rastra. Of course, other faith will still have access to India and all the freedom except conversion.
Just to educate others, Nepal had 100% hindu population, then in 1954 they had 54 christians (individuals), now the christian population in Nepal is 1200 . I also accept the fact that Hindus did not took care of their brethens and hence the conversion. But we are successfully working on rectifying our mistake.

India will never become a Hindu Rastra ,It can only disintegrate into one.Why should muslims live as minority maybe we can form another pakistan including kashmir and nizam s dominion which were forcefully occupied .so dude dont even think about it.
