1.If it is removed India will suffer with many problems like tsunami. 2.Tsunami will hit directly to all the Coast borders. 3.Country Security issues from Ocean Side and Risk from all Sides – Impact like Bombay Blast may repeat. 4.Ocean soil conditions will spoil & impact on Fish & Other creature. 5.Lakhs of the Poor Fisherman will suffer all their lives.
Incidentally there is yet another example of a causeway having been built in sea and not only history admits it but also glorifies the hero.
The island-city of Tyre was considered unconquerable, until Alexander the Great marched up the causeway built by his army on sand isthmus which is normally created in such geographical situation.
Today, Tyre juts out from the Lebanese coast on a tongue-shaped strip of land.
Now what is true for Alexander in 332 BC at Tyre island, could have been the actual truth of Ramsetu about 5000 BC. The geographical conditions are just similar. It could have been an isthmus over which a causeway was built by the army of Lord Ram. Before trying to cross the sea, naturally a reconnissance of the area must have been carried out and their having located the isthmus is what has probably been metaphorically described in the Ramayan as sea God giving way.
Whereas the causeway of Alexander was preserved and maintained, this causeway was not to be maintained by Vibhishan for strategic reasons. Moreover there is difference in the time frame of the two construction.
Yet,if & when India gets a government which is serious about the antiquity of our cultural heritage, research & investigationsmay give evidences about Ram setu just as Dwarka has been discovered under sea.
Even NASA made it clear that RamSetu is a man made structure but our government did not think twice before making the mockery of our religious epics in Supreme Court, . Explaining Ram Setu is not man made and showing of unnecessary proficiency reflects the unscientific views of government. Scientific realities are written in ancient Indian religious texts. Don’t try to curb the grandeur of our epics by such statements. You cant play game with the faith of 80croresHindus.The real fact is that it is in our nature that if we attain some higher degree of education then we try to become over scientific to the we question our ancestors, our 10000yrs of history. This main reason is the culprit behind the inappropriate and unscientific remark of Indian govt. &ASI.
it is very clear.MR.MANMOHAN SINGH is puppet in the hands of "SONIA GANDHI who is a ITALIAN"she in turn rules congress,and she is ruled by GORGE BUSH...so the congress wants to destroy RAM SETHU as many congress leaders would get money in DOLLARS from usa.
all these cheats will not burn in hell but they will burn on earth itself......hell will surely break loose on them!
Congress government led by Ms Gandhi has always been trying to humiliate hindu's. and they blame BJP for being secular. What do u call being opposite to a perticular task. There was so much havoc on demolition of Ram Janm bhumi. Wht no one ever complain same happening in Afganistan Kuwait or that matter any other country where US demolished. Our politician have just used caste system to Rule. Now With Ms Gandhi trying to Demolish Hindu Monument so is it any different from demolishing Muslim monument. Its just autocracies on one caste are treated as secularism and on other they are told as so called "ATYACHAR"...So government must try to save a national treasure..

you are completely right. ram setu is really a treasure for hindustan.And congress is always on oppposit side against hindus.It only wants votes ,is thirsty of votes.Congress should be removed. But on the other hand bjp government has also not done anything upto the wishes of peoples.Now there should be a government which is really good and which never opposes hindus in any situation.I mean to say a real hindu party
It is clear from the arguments outlined above that the project is not sound either from a scientific point of view or religious point of view. The government must change the route or abandon the project. It cannot just say that the project was initiated by the NDA and get aside now. The BJP and its allied parties should also stop from hoodwinking people. The issue has political overtones now, but that is not a good enough excuse to continue with the project in its current form.

its clear that this project will have an adverse effect on environment, fisherman,ecosystem. now BJP is against this project but the same party when it was ruling they give support for this project.so after this turn blp may come in power.thwen they wil support this project. These politicaal leaders keep on doing this .so any govt going to come in power should go for other project which won't affect this sethu .
The route should be altered or the project should be abandoned. The reasons given are clear, and leave no doubt from a scientific or religious point of view that the project should be modified or abandoned.
