All Hindu festivals are celebration of death of evil by good. Nothing to mourn about the death who wins by the spread of racism and evil. Despite the loss of life with Gandhian principles, we revere Gandhi for preaching equality-not speading racism, casteism and prejdice. Sooner the predicial elements leave the planet faster the planet will become peaceful.

the good is social equality and fairness in society (DMK). the evil is caste system and birth inspired social hierarchy (RSS/BJP). We know who we follow.
No doubt these people will never be forgotten by the masses of Dravidian people. For breaking the shackles of the demonic caste system and inspiring social equality.
Let us not forget the intellectual battle for decentralisation of the government and reservation started with these Dravidian parties. I salute these individuals who had the courage of conviction.
In Ancient Tamil Society, a King or a General who did not die in war had swords cut over his body for blood marks before cremation.
These Dravidian warriors were an intellectual breed with the sword of Truth and Justice.

I don't think anything much has changed. OBC's were ruling tamil nadu in ancient times of rajas, they are ruling now in times of kazhagams. The leaders of ancient times atleast were more morally grounded than the corrupt breed of today's times that loot wealth and preserve it for their nephews and sons in thousands of crores and they are very much casteist. Changes happen all the time and social reforms are a historical process. Merely giving it a symbolic turn by naming things as dravidian through bullshit theory framed by Brits that has been demolished is very pathetic.

Just curious, how could a casteist(castiest??) be Anti-Hindu? I thought all the followers of EVR were for a society without caste and thereby prounced non-hindu which means hindus want the status-quo to be maintained as per caste system. That sounds horrible to me.

DMK, AIADMK, PMK ,**MK etc parties are all racist parties which profess the supremacy of Dravidians over Aryans. This whole concept of Aryans and Dravidians is a convenient invention of Marxist historians and is backed by flaky historical evidence. Opportunistic Tamil politicians used this propaganda to usurp power and formed all these MKs. The bed rock of Tamil Nadu politics is anti-Brahminism as is evident from 69% reservations,arrest of Shankaracharya, repeated attempts at minority reservation etc and also from large scale migration of Tamil Brahmins into Karnataka. It is time for the educated class of TN to rise and throw all these racist, regionalist parties out of power and bring in a nationalist party to power.

Interesting point. But now that lots of brahmins have migrated to karnataka, who do you think are now the educated class and why would they be interested in throwing away the current govt? Because they educated them?
All the growth of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh should be attributed to Regional parties. I sincerely wish states like Kerala, UP, Bihar, North East states, etc. have their own regional parties so that they can develop sooner.
The national parties have not been successful in creating leaders(I know, every one is corrupt but still...). Just my observation
