Dear Hello, Sorry for Replying late, in 30 years these following things will happen in Islamic World 1) Oil Money will go away and all these Filty Arabs will give up their Ego of Money and start understanding the reality of Islam
2)The whole world is against Terrorism, so Young Muslims will think about what really Islam is all about ?? and there will be a revolution where the Hatred preaching Maulvis will be thrown out 3) All the enemies of Islam will do attrocities to the common muslims, as a result of that the unity among Muslims will develop, which will help in Practising Islam in the right sense. All the Indians united bcos of the attrocities of the British, similarly all the Muslims will unite against the enemies of Islam, this is going to happen very soon. 4) As a result of that there will be Peace and Prosperity in the whole world... This is the revolution that will happen very soon. This is the secret of the growth of Islam, more you bash more vigourously it grows. Bcos it is the Religion of Truth, Truth is bound to sustain and grow dynamically

wouldnt u say that 50 year a country like ours ie India signifies the same thing as the EU, after all arent we a group of nation clubbed together, so India is like the E.U maybe even a step higher.

Billions of differences, billions of ideas, lot of religions, lot of regions, lot of seasons, lot of languages, we are one, i.e. Indian!!!
I think india has to be careful when allowing other country's products without Import taxes Indian farmers going to suufer .in one way because of this stuppid idea when india allowed Srilanka, Nephal etc (at the moment Other outside country's selling Like china Guatimala, Indonesia etc.. their products through this country ) Indian farmers suffered Lot We Have lotmany people suicided in many states. Hence I am Requesting GOVT.to pull back from this Bloody IDEA!!What is your Opinion??
EU and SAARC are uncomparable. THey both have different history and different ideologies. Since, the history of SAARC nations is different from the rest, its present is also different, and so would be the future. We should not try to make whole world as EU. Better try to find those solutions which are specific to SAARC region and relate to our philosophy and ideologies. The whole world would be a boring place, if its replica of EU everywhere.
I guess the writer hasn't seen the world yet, and atleast not understood the mindset of subcontinent people. Subcontinent people may fight or hate or whatever, they are more spiritual and philosophical than anyone else in the world. here people believe more in spirituality, whereas west believes more in materialistic pleasures. This has been already mentioned by the writer, that EU spoke about coal and steel, whereas Gandhi talked about love and truth.
EU is good at having good quality of living, but when it comes to the true meaning of life, they are stormed.
SAARC has more diversity, and hence its not easy to combine at one go. The process is on, and with globalisation that diversity is tend to decrease. Whereas, EU from beginning was always monotonous, with not so much diversity. Hence they were able to combine forces, without having globalization.
I would request the writer and editor of Rediff to do their homework well, before trying to even compare EU and SAARC.

The roots of Sufism are in everry Part of the World, Just one root of CHISTI & KHADARIA are in India. Learn more about Sufism, the first converts to Islam in India are the Great Hindu Sages and Buddhist Monks, they accepted Islam from Khwaja Moinudeen Chisti, the king of Sufis still living in Ajmer..
We can make SAARC like EU if we can avoid PAKISTAN. Why don't we make EU with other south asian countires exluding pakistan..??? As Pakistan is the India Hater.and It will never stop hating India.

The whole of South Asian region is disgusting with filthy, impoverished and uncivilized people. Only achievement in the world stage is exporting these uncouth elements to migrate to other parts. All these people are generally referred to as 'Indians' irrespective of their nationality based on their filthy habits and ethnic nature. I do not know why we asians can not see best and better in each other and try to work towards betterment of each other. We have think we only are great and rest all or filthy and disgusting! I am not surprised at your comment. But, remember, there are many well educated people in South Asia, who think exactly the same way about East Asians, as you are thinking about the south asians. I know people like you form a significant percentage in Asia and that is why we are one of the most disunited region! Mr Hui - you are mistaken.
In fact most of the world welcomes hard-working intelligent Indians.
The Arab nations could not function if all the Indians living there were to depart from their lands - Arabs are educationally sub-normal and incapable of running a modern economy.
Most European nations too would suffer if their healthcare services were deprived of workers from India.
Considering India has over 600 million people under the age of 25, I hope even more of them will come to the West where we are facing a shortage of workers due to low population growth.
India is growing as an economic power. Indian corporates houses are investing in foreign countries. All countries is now willing to have trade agreements and relations with India. Indian Government at the same time also have to take necessary steps to help the neighbouring countries when needed. Should extend the helping arm in field of education, health care and during the time of natural disaster and political turmoil.
When neighbours are not good economically, India cannot live peacefully.
