7/11: Home secy given evidence

Let me see if I've understood this properly. The police commissioner went to the media to announce to the world that Pakistan was involved in the blasts. And, he's now sharing that evidence with our country's home secretary. Does it occur to anyone that perhaps the evidence should have been shared with at least all levels of the Indian govt. before trying to hog the limelight? The minute the commissioner went to the press, he should have been dismissed from service. It is not his job to give press conferences of this nature - that is the job of the politicians. Smacks of self-serving publicity. And now, if the evidence is shaky, he's handed the upper hand to Pakistan...
