Really they havn't done any wrong in this case. They even don't do wrong when they play with human life just for making money for their own. Just some time and this case will again be buried deeply.
I would like to congratulate Apollo Hospitals on its statement that it acted in favour humanity to save the life of young man. Well Done!!!
What if the person in question was someone other than the Mahanjans? What if it were to be a commoner? Would the hospital do the same? Absolutely not. Influence is the key word. If the same were to be a commoner, then the hospital would just ask that person to follow the rules.
I have had experience. When I had taken an accident victim to the hospital, I was asked to first lodge a poiice complaint. When I pleaded that the victim was crying in pain, since it was unbearable, they did not budge an inch from their stand. When I said reminded that the victim was a child, it did not affect them at all. All they said was that the treatment would start only after a formal complaint was lodged.
And now they talk of humanity. Well, it is not the first case, and so, it never surprised me to read the news. And, at Apollo, we know that only the Mahajan types (read: influential people) would not have problems at all, cos they are humans.
Talk about Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, Apollo knows how to play its card very well.
