The culture of terror can not be removed unless the root is uprooted. And the root of terror is injustice and the inability to listen to the legitimate demands of a section of the society. Injustice is the fuel of terrorism. The terrorists can not succeed unless they get support from people. And if the people are happy they won't support terrorism. Nobody likes bloodshed. This is a simple logic which should be understood by a person with the minimum IQ. But either our politicians have no IQ (which is not possible as they are running the countries) or they just don't want to solve the problem of terrorism for their own vested interests. So another root of terrorism lies in the head of politicians.
The culture of terror is glorified by some political parties in India,for their own shop, there are many examples wherein the Top Leaders either ordered to killed the opposite party leaders or political person creating or fighting against him. From Maharashtra to Manipur and from Kerala to Kashmir many political bosses are engaged in crime, only nobody dares to fight with them because our officials supports them. The selections and elections from Panchayat to Parliament are based on caste and creeds, in India. The founder of Indian Constitutions once in Public Meeting during 1947 rightly said that " If the people of this country continues the election on caste and creed, the great democracy will be in peril" It happened in strong and large Russia, why not in weak and allready divided on Region and Caste in India. I am having a fine example of recruitment of school teacher in 100% educated state in India, Kerala. The minister concern had recruited the teachers from his own District, and then opposition started striking against him. But on the other hand a Chief Minister, had rejected the request and order to recruit a most tallent and educated person, rejecting his own sister.
Every person living on this planet is totally agreed to act against the terrorist, but nobody knows who are behind terrorist, simple answer is politicians, those wanted to run their political shop to earn money. A fine example of said in IB report during 1975 to 1980, to find out the terror creating people in Marathwada against the Dalit those fighting to remane the Marathwada Universirty after Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar. When I came acrose with then Senior Secretary, who was incharge of report, told me that a top politicians and ex-chief minister of state is behind the terror. In India there are many instances wherein the terror has been sponsered by top politicains to run their shop. Now the question comes whether the demand of striking and creating terror is just or not. Then again the question comes first, cast, relegion and state. Indian people are kept divided on these three issues by Indian Politicians like unified Russians. The state disobey the order of Central is regular, the state gives protections to criminals, even state provides sophisticated automatic guns from govt. stores to such criminals. Manufacturing of crude guns and pistols in Bihar in the agriculture farms.
The assertion seems empty and meaningless as Indiaitself has been tolerating terrorism since 1984 in J and K and have done nothing concrete in ending the same. Remember the Khandhar Indian Airlines Aircraft kidnapping case? India has been a muke specetator to terrorism and has been acting like a sissy, ,asking and begging US to do what it should do on its own. These comments of the politicians seems as empty drums with no backing in spirit, action or ethics about curbing terrorism.
culture of terrorism in asia, afghanistan,j&k etc.can not be uprooted unless we accept that its root are in the concept of armed jihad and its factories i.e. training centres requires to be demolish.also those centres or madras's which are engaged in implanting ideological feeding and hypnotysing to the faith of armed jihad requires continious scrutiny and searches so that these centres cannot feed the concept of armed jihad.once we tackle and check the ideological feeding of armed jihad then our fight to terrorism will become easier.
I think everybody will agree with the concept of zero tolerance. Where they will not agree is the definition of what is 'terrorism'. Unfortunately the terrorists have shown that they are succeeded in getting attention by the senseless (to us) killing that they have been doing. And governmental heads like Musharraf support these terrorists and have beautifully crafted English words to justify.
Yes, I whole-heartedly agree, that the mindless brainwashing of the poor innocent people who are merely the pawns of the muslim & other religious fanatics must truly be stopped.
The so called self proclamed 'Jihadis' are nothing but Thugs in disguise who are able to incite the passion of the terrorists who do not even realise what they are doing.
It is time the world unites and provides a ray of light by making the hapless innocent terrorists sent out by the real terrorist masterminds be made to realise that what they are doing is wrong and a sacrifice for the Greater cause of Allah as they are mislead to believe.

As long as politicians are hand in glove with these people, it is difficult to end- they talk of ending terrorism in meetings, but they are the ones who are with them for their selfish ends - they provide them money and power- this is true in every country- I do not find any exception!
