Wonderful news to eyes and ears! I am very happy to note that Mr. Shankar and his team are doing a great job in promoting the divine language of Samskritam. My best wishes for all their efforts. would it be possible to get the email ID of Mr. Shankar so as to get in touch with him?
Glad to know that some youngsters in USA are popularising Sanskrit.
Wish them all success.
If only Sanskrit had been declared as the national language in 1947, much of the problems wouldn't have arisen.Bu then the narrow minded regional interests of our politicians scutteled this move
Everyhting has got its time.
Let the sincere efforts of these youngsters of U.Md motivate others also to do such work.
I really like what they are doing but I do not appreciate a wrong information. Sparsh is conducted anually by a graduate student group (Students Council of India) at University of Maryland, College Park and the sanskrit group just performed the two acts (Khandala song and Sholey scene) at Sparsh 2006. SCI works really hard to organize this event and I wouldnt appreciate they being robbed of the credit for it.
