Syed Firdaus and other Indian Muslims, Please ponder over these.
What is the present population % of Hindus in Bangladesh and Pakistan in comparison to the double digit % figure during Independence of both countries?. Think of the % of growth - the Indian Muslims have clocked during the same period. If BJP, Shiv Sena & Hindu Organisations like RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal had decided to pay back to Indian Muslims , the same that was being done to the Kashmir Pandits, Pakistani & Bangladeshi Hindus , then Indian Muslims should be really worried. Hindus are discriminated in Saudi Arabia and similar Muslim nations like Malaysia - where the govt. itself treats them as people below the Muslims, Christians and other peoples. Look at the amount of compensation given in Saudi when a Hindu Man/woman gets killed as against the same for a Muslim. A huge discrimination. Very few Arabian nations even allow a Hindu Temple to exist in their lands. Recently Malaysia has started demolishing very old Hindu Temples. So much hatred, bigotry and intolerance against other religions in many of the Muslim nations. Any Muslim would like to reason out these intolerance against Hindus in the Muslim countries ?
The reason why the terrorists being Muslims is so highlighted with certain terrorirst organizations is because these organizations are founded on religious grounds, unlike JKLF or PWG, which have a political/geographical agenda, however fanciful.
The main reason why innocent muslims too feel targeted is because of the few who kill in the name of Islam. I do not however understand the sympathy that they have for Khwaja Yunus who caused the Ghatkopar blasts that took so many innocent lives. Expressing sympathy for such irrational people who lack humanity is only going to cause more distrust between Hindus and Muslims. The author too made his distrust for Hindus clear in his article "Why I won't live with Hindus (http://in.rediff.com/news/2006/apr/11sfa.htm)" Such articles only add fuel to the fire.
