Mumbai blasts
by S. Sampathkumar on Jul 12, 2006 01:05 PM

Sir,
The lack wisdom and vote bank politics out of greed for power, made UPA Govt to withdraw POTA. We are paying the price for it. This time for emergency.

People helping people
by Shriram on Jul 12, 2006 11:08 AM

Slum dwellers, ordinary people, executives - each helping another - lending their expensive cell phones to another.
Where is Reader's Digest now who said Mumbai was the rudest city in world!!!

No words to say
by SEETHARAM on Jul 12, 2006 10:38 AM

Reading this message in Hyderabad has brought tears in my eyes and I cannot just imagine how the minds of the people of MUMBAI would be.

I express my grief to all the kith and kin of the deceased and the injured. I wish GOD would help them in overcoming this terrible difficult situation with great mental strength.

I thank one and all MUMBAIKARS who have shown great patience and have volunteered to help those in distress without awaiting help from the authorities.

MAY GOD BE ALWAYS WITH THE MUMBAIKARS.

Bomb Blast
by raju subramanian on Jul 12, 2006 09:57 AM

The innocents who died are no less than war heroes of Kargil. Their families should be compensated at the same level. This is the lease we can do to honour these innocent heroes and their bereaved families. This is a social responsibility

Wake up INDIANS
by B.Pradeep kumar on Jul 12, 2006 09:04 AM

To all the Indians, who have been affected by this disaster, I wish to tell only one thing, please be united among yourself, each and every citizen can inform the public about undue incidents happening around you.To the Govt of India, please provide camera's at public places like station entry, inside compartments. What is the use if you place a metal detector for just 1 month after the blast, please please i beg you to keep the camera's,metal detector's forever. It could be of some help to us someday. We have all modern features nowadays, then why dont we use it? Sitting here in an Alien country Korea, I feel very depressed. Our govt of India can afford to put all sorts of security at railway station.Infact still we dont have a Automatic Ticket Entry system and we call ourself as the world's largest railway network.Shame on us.In New Delhi, the situation is still worse.Anyone can enter the platform without ticket. There is an Metal detector but people just pass next to that. Its of no use. If we need to become a developed nation then we must have to develop our infrastructure. We have all the resourses but who is stoping them?? Answer-People in the dirty politics.Wake up INDIANS

Lets not forget Kashmir because of Mumbai
by Venkatesh Hariharan on Jul 12, 2006 07:19 AM

I am as deeply saddened as anybody else. But let us take this a sample dosage of what ur fellow Indians are undergoing everyday in Kashmir. The same vigor, vigil and intensity should be showed to bring to justice the preperators of all the blasts which took place in Bombay as well as in Kashmir. Indians let us save India!

Unforgivable Act
by Melwyn on Jul 12, 2006 04:47 AM

I think at least now our government shud stop the friendship tamasha with Pakistan and ask some real tough questions to Pak Prez. Enough lives have been lost and enough blood been shed, we cant stand to see anymore of this in the name of peace. Let the terrorists know the curse of innocent blood cannot escape them for too long and they will have to pay for it. Stop this bloodbath in the name of Jehad. I am sure no GOD will approve killing of innocent people.
