Slackness of the government
by Saumitra Kumar on Feb 02, 2006 10:51 AM

Inspite of all this happening, our government and other central agencies were sleeping. If Andhra was becoming such a hotspot for terrorists then why wasn't suitable action taken since '89', which otherwise led to loss of innocent lives.Only when the terrorists strike deep into our country then some action is taken.

the deeper malaise lies in the political system
by rayker on Feb 02, 2006 10:42 AM

the deeper malaise lies in the political system, which turnes communities into vote banks. all parties are guilty of that including those who claim that they are secular. everyone has either support for minority or they are against minority. so its very very clear that - the whole political system is built around caste/ religion lines. until that goes, we will have the problem of the younger hapless laymen being used by unscrouplous elements under various guises such as maoists, naxals, jehadis.

Please take national security as a Prime important Issue as compared with the VOTE BANKS.
