Different fee charged from students of same class
by Guest on Oct 10, 2009 03:45 AM

Sir ,

An Educational intitution affiliated to CBSE Board charges different rate of fees from students of same class. Is it allowed by the CBSE Board? Does the CBSE Board have any control over irrational rates of fees charged by educational insttutions . Vikas College in Vishakhapatnam charges fees ranging from Rs 15,000 p.a. to 20,000 p.a from different students . Is it allowed under the scheme of fees by CBSE Board.

late handover of the proerty by the builder
by on Oct 15, 2007 05:36 PM

i bought a apartment in a housing complex (regd as a Society) in sector 51 noida last year where i made the last payment installment in april 2006 to the builder. there was certain repair/finishing work to be completed by the builder by April end 2006 post which i was meant to make use of the house .

despite repeated committments and dates given by the builder over 1 year, the same was not completed even till end april 2007 due to which i was forced to collect the house keys from the security of the society and had to get the work done at my own cost and effort. Affter this i shifted into the house in june 2007.

i have 2 queries;

1) as per law, should the builder reimburse me the loss i have incurred due to the delay in handing over the property to me ? if yes, how do you arrive at the figure.

2) since the housing society is managed by the same builder, i have not been paying the monthly maintanence charges of 1100 rs since the time i shifted in, as the above has not been resolved. Due to the non-payment of monthly maintanence, the society management is threatening to withdraw the power back-up facility to my house any moment.

My letter to the society people to solve the problem no 1 has elicited no response.

pls suggest asap.

thx

my brother is in a psu where cmd ishifghly smart in all respects - educated, intelligent and knows all sides to butress. my brother is honest and in course of office work stumbled on deeds of CMD running into muti-multi crore loss to the nation. cmd has become personally vindictive and has banished him toa kal-pani transfer and putting pressure on him through others to mentally and (not yet physically buth this is always apprehended by us)torture hi, inluding drumming up fictitious cases against him. where is help - where is appeal.
