Judge a person by deeds and not words

Though people at the highest level of politics should be careful in their talk, they are human beings. Any one can make mistakes, tongues can slip. One may say what she.he does not mean. At the same time, once they make a mistake, these smart politicians can apologise or pay lip sympathies - SO the bottom line is don't give much importance to what they say, but look at their work and conclude if they said waht they meant.

We should not loose good people just for their Freudian slips of tongue or even for genuine difference of opinion. As long as they serve the cause of people and the nation in a manner acceptable to us, we should back them.
at the same time we also need to shun very shrewd cunning articulate, but cunning people who say great things and do the opposite.
So Judge a person by deeds and not words
