It's not true.

I would like to give my views that, the society is not interdependent, but tends to be living peacefully as far as possible with so many communities. I am quite surprised to see the western effect slowly engulfing our entire nation. The nation is forgetting its glorious past. To the effect, the society tends to venomous and the people are more getting selfish. But, still underlies the basic truth of our tradition and culture, so the country is still there. May be outsiders are trying to disrupt the state of normalcy, but as long we are harmonious, no one can estrange us from our inherent attachment.

I must congratulate you for putting the right definition in a neat and subtle manner. I am really proud of you friend. What you said is right. Only the external forces are confusing us to the maximum than the internal forces that strives and is mostly living interdependently.

Indian Society is (still) interdependent

Thank god it is so yet. But with globalisation, the economic freedom accompanied with freedom to sex, and we and our two, to we and our one, with little care for elders in the urban lives the day may not be far off when the slogan becomes me and mine to me, me!!

Idiotic pedantry

He cites Gujarat as the case for ethnic cleansing of minorities while it is well recognised that it is not Gujarat, but Kashmir valley from where the minority community is oblitarated lock, stock and barrel. What kind of credulous trash is he preaching?

Srilanka is another example for ethinic cleansing where tamil hindus are minorities..but can we justify LTTE bombings..it all depends on how the majority handles the situation..partition was a foolish idea and the scar still remains..but Arjun is true..India is filled with various small divisions..INDIA CANNOT AND SHOULD NOT BE classified based on religion..rather the classification of majority and minority should be based on Castes..which is our true colour..nobody wants division..but c'mon lets accept the fact

India was split into India, Pakistan-Bangladesh . Muslim went to pakistan / bangladesh. Remaining MUST ACCEPT to live under HINDU UMBRELLA. They could have gone to those two islamic countries, now they must ACCEPT to live under HINDU UMBRELLA. Equal rights and nothing more. No quota no special stuff. OR be kicked out!

I think He looks at the indian society with a wide eye, and he sees the other minorities within the HINDU majority. this is factual and needs to be realised.

dear raj, did you or your family ever, loved your neigbours ? even to your distant relatives ? I mean - a love like your own family.. never. it is not possible any where in the world. the indian society is no different. It includes you too.
But we dont need any american indian arjun to understand that India is the only society which has "accepted" the other cultuers, and only country which was "tolerent" in history. Raj,you have a proud and exciting history. So be proud of the "actual" india. If you start looking for "hatrednes" you will get it everywhere, even in your own family. We have a choice of selecting 100 core units of "love" or "hatred". The article by Arjun is full of pig shit!
