Agree to disagree

I think ur right Mr. Ashraf. We need more people like Brenda Rosenburg, who want to bring the Muslims, Jews & Christens. for the Peaceful world to exist.
And aslo we need to lisen all the group, whether they are extremists or Librals.
The factthat more Iraqis were killed under Saddam Hussein or not does not the question arises here but the atrocities perpetrated by the Americans in Iraq is pardonable or not.
Again we can see that what saddam Hussain's regime fail to do (Killing Innocent people) Americans are doing it. Even they don't have answer to these killing. Why america targets only weak and muslim nations? Why the hell they interfere in others matters? And they are more concerned about Islamic Laws than their own. As they are free to wear "Revealing cloths" we too are free to wear what we like, and they should not teach us what to wear and what to not.
Hope atlest now they stop interfering on others matters.

Thanx

Osama and MTV

I think Mr. Ashraf is right on target when he says Americans are lying with this "agreeing to disagree" bullshit. It's also true about their conveniently abandoning this motto when they crush their more-powerful adversaries, who have actually dared to "disagree".

The fact(?) that more Iraqis were killed under Saddam Hussein does not, or ought not to, make the atrocities perpetrated by the Americans in Iraque excusable or less reprehensible.

My enemy is a murderer, therefore I am justified in being a murderer is a reasoning both laughable and dangerous.

Indeed, the Iraqi people are the ones who should be interviewed. It's they who suffered the pain and loss. The American civilians, sitting pretty in their safe zone, should not be the ones to air their opinions on safety. In any case, paradoxically, their obsession with their own safety only increases more as the US goes and wages war in other people's territory.

Maybe a few reality checks with uncensored clippings of the bestiality displayed by the American soldiers at Abu Ghraib prison would slightly distract them from their obsession.

I agree with you. The Americans are in a habbit of poaking their nose in other people's matter. They have a problem if anybody does'nt listen to them it becomes a threat to them.
Why does US have a problem if we (India) have nuclear arsenal. And for that matter even Iran or North Korea. They can go ahead and bomb any one if they are hurt but we can't retalliate even if we face sever terrorism.... Thats because of American pressure.
America always had these double standards. They can bomb Afganistan but they wont touch Pakistan...the breeding ground of terrorism, just because US does'nt have an aid in this region.

Agree to Disagree

From your article:
"Americans agree to disagree because they know their opponent is weak and that even if a voice is raised in protest, it is not a threat. The day these voices become threats -- like Iran or North Korea -- they promptly dump their theory of agreeing to disagree and start bombing. What do you think?"

Yes, they are absolutely right. Agree to disagree is democratic concept. If someone takes adavantage of the tolerence and start to threaten you, whats the point in being polite? You have to be strong, and I am afraid, thats what we Indians failed to do.
