We need interdependence to live peacefully, but you forgot that there is and there can be no peaace without independence. The first step to ensure peace in Kashmir is to remove the presence of the army from the state and scrap the notorious Armed Personnel Act, which make the army personnel immune to the rule of the land and let them be tried for the gross inhumane act they have perpetrated on the innocent peoples of the valley.
Crime against humanity is what should be stopped and genuine steps should be taken to protect the basic human rights. Peace cannot be attained by sermons of Ravi Shankar. It can only be attained by addressing the basic human rights and dignity problems that the people of the valley are facing by the presence of a large number of army personnel.

Can you, for a minute, think in an unbiased manner before jumping the gun and saying that all of Ksahmir's problems would be solved with the Indian army pull out!! The only logical thing which will follow is Kashmir being taken over by Pakistan & nothing else. Your day-dream of peace in the valley will get a rude awakening more so under the Pakis.
So interdependence is the only answer. The so-called Inpendence for Kashmir will not take place ever & is a good tool used by the Pakis to keep the proxy war going on. Thats all. Hope you gain some insight & maturity before you are long gone.

My dear fellow kashmiri, A clap can occurs only when two hands join. When you talk of human rights, please keep in mind the kashmiri pandits who are strolling in the footpaths of Delhi. Please recall the killings of Kashmiri pandits who were brutally murdered & tortured by the terrorists in the name dof Jehad for no fault of theirs? Reply to me whether living in Kashmir as a Hindu or a Pandit is against Islam? If you talk of human rights, first step is brotherhood, learn & acess it well. Please don't think as a Muslim, think as a Kashmiri, an Indian. This is my sincere & loving request to you. Please know the meaning of Srinagar - Place of Godess Lakshmi(Sree- means Wealth,Prosperity)

valiant effort,but misplaced optimism! Sri Ravi Sankakji, how nice it would be be everyone believed in this theory of universal love or interdependence, whatever you may call. But you can't change people who think that they are perfect.Am I a skecptic? I wish I were!

I see that such people ar real problem for the nation, When they dont feel INDIA as their nation they will definietely say, ..INDIA .. Plz correct its our nation , if u hav eloved india u would have said, plz Army be send back home we can manage an dlive happily butsymbolising INDIA i see that no end to terrorism in J&K which is one of the sacred places of Hinduism.
