same day as this news broke out there was another one where it was reported that Russell Crowe arrested for throwing a telephone at a hotel attendant and was shown on TV with handcuffs being led to a police car.
we are not presuming that either pataudi or russell are guilty until proven.
but the sad part is in india you are allowed to roam free if you are big enough. police have to request the accused for coorperating and provide a weeks time to turn in? this is bull shit.
If my memory serves me right, it is not the first time that a big shot has ended up making trouble, be it a hit and run (executed by a Merc or Land Cruiser) or a poaching incident not body ever got punished severe enough to deter others. This case will also go under the carpet.
I think the pataudi family stinks, they end up killing wild life one after another, earlier son and now father, what a true statement \"father like son\"
If it was a non-bailable case, why is he being allowed to go scott-free.

Indian Law really makes everything a laughing stock.......when can this country get some credibility.....if you have the influence and money power, then you can do whatever you feel like.............. :-)
its very heartning to see that the investigating agencies and the media took a bold step in publishing the names of the elite public figures/the celebrities of india.and one of them this time is none other than mansur ali khan pataudi who was called a tiger patuadi shown to the world how true he is to his name.there is clearly diffrent rules or laws for the rich and the poor.these rich persons see that no legal action proceeds further using thier celebrity status.besides he can also say one fine day that since he belongs to a minority community he is being harrassed.this we have seen earlirer in the case of salman khan and mohammad Azhruddin our another cricket star.the issue is that suppose that crime would have been committed by a local poor tribal he would have been by this time reduced to a vegetable by the police.he is no more a celebrity.he is poacher patuadi.this is the testing time for the media to expose still further the ugly faces of these elite people.

We Indians are so star struck that we will never prosecute these celebrities. If an AK47 was found in any of our houses we would have rotted in jail for years before our case even came up for hearing. I hope the guilty are jailed for this crime whoever the guilty are.
