Kudos to Kousalya for her grit and determination that has made the world stand up in ovation. Thanks to rediff for bringing out the story. Its really excruitiating to live with the feeling of having AIDS and still more suffocating is the attitude of people. Living up to the challanges that life poses every now and then,is something only bravehearts can achieve, Kousalya being one. Let the message spread!
After reading through the stories of Kausalya & Ashok Pillai the first thought comes to mind is that we the normals? are so engrossed with our own day to day problems most of them created by ourselves.have no time to look around & even see whats going on in the world. We hardly are able to solve our own problems forget about solving others`s problems. And here these two persons seen living with this dreaded desease, has given new dimension to the life. I belive because of the pure souls like Kausalya & Ashok the mechanism of this world runs.
life is too wonderful to be spent worrying, a small poem of mine for u, Life is fuzzy but death is crispy Love is uncertain but hatred is certain Success is a passing cloud failure is a friend for ever Inspite of all odds i have promised to go mils miles & miles ..........
Really appreciate the courage of such wonderfull women. Should publish more of such articles of the persons who have created more of such milestone with no background or backing at all, to encourage people
Amazing it was, it is a fact that Positive Attitude will lead to Success. I think Kousalya deserves what she is today I hope she succeeds in he life. She is a inspiration of new generation.
It is indeed very brave of Kousalya to come out of the stigma attached to AIDs patients. It is still unfortunate that most of the people think that AIDS is contegeous. We should encourage people like Kousalya to address the public. There is a lot of money spent on International Conferences and Seminars, which keep circling round the HIV/AIDS. But I would feel that the same money could be utilised in bringing awarness to the people about the disease and also work for care and support, which requires funds.
Bravo Kousalya. I wish her all success in her efforts to desensetise the people against HIV AIDS.
Hats off to strong and determined women like Kaushalya!! Her attitude towards life shows her strength of character. Keep going Kaushalya!! India needs more women like you.....
