Lonely crusader in world of Criminals

I frankly admit that Prime minister Dr.Singh is not a politician.Probably he's the first person to ever mentioned Wildlife & Environment on prioroity list.We never realised that humans can only survive if this wildlife, the ecology & environment is sustained & enhanced.Instead rampant corrupt state machinaries have almost wrecked havoc on this reserved areas & free jungles too. Apart from that also I find Dr. Singh speaking of development as a nation. He's a true leader but not a politician.Perhaps if given the full fledge control he'll be King Yudhishtir the Just, benign, & absolutely popular. He's actually a lone crusader in dangerous world of criminals(Politicians).
May god give him strength, & I salute & stand by him.

Independance Day 2005

It is indeed sad that we have so much of social trouble in a country developing for the last 58 years. Reservations have not made much impact on bettering the lot of the deprived, but have been extesively misused by political figures for their own ends. Corrupt leaders, intent on filling their pockets, and disinterested in the nation's needs and developement, have become a bane to the country, a curse to our democracy and to our image in the comity of nations. People like Dr. Manmohan Singh, P Chidambaram, Jaswant Singh of the BJP and the new, yet to be corrupted lot of MPs can become beacons of progress and genuine secular leaders, if allowed to develop by our political system. The delay in finalising a simple international purchase has made us the laughing stock of th world, not to mention the amount of corruption it generates.
If we cannot do away with religion, corruption, reservations in politics, we can forget about our future as a leader in Asia and the world, and continue as a poor third world nation, plagued with all ills which we see today, and with terrorism to boot.
