It is good to hear that corruption is being weeded out. Do the CBI have the stomach to turn their radar on the ministers? or are they above the radar? and why should they be? I sincerely hope it will be done and when action is taken it will be followed through to it's completion and not become a case of missing papers, hostile witnesses etc.
I hope somebody conducts rides against CBI itself just to find out why it took them so long to raid these officials. At the same time why don't they raid some of the (rather all the) politicians and ministers etc
Even though it is a good thing, but it is worthless and they cannot control corruption which are growing in India unless they first take serious investigations on corrupted political leaders and business magnets where corruption if everywhere. Business magnets who are controlling the political leaders and getting favors from those politicans should be come under trap of these investigating officers, if they are really wanted to root out the corruption in the Governments IPS / IAS officers who are simply abiding more verbal orders than the legal orders getting in writing from their top. Verbal orders never finds as a proof of any court until it proves through a sting operation. Most of the corrupted officers are the creation of political class and political spectrum should be purified first and then the business magnets who are controlling the governments and political parties irrespective of the colour and ideology. Most of the business magents are evading millions of tax evasions and even some are evading customs as well, under the umbrellas of the so-called political patronage. So we are not seeing any decrease of corruption due these raids and its aftermath.
