while this is an interesting, detailed and well researched article, my feeling is that we are not taking sufficient guard against the chinese. they are the ones to fear. they say one thing and do something else. within a few years usa will become a toothless giant and then only will we see the chinese convert their growing economic might to territorial gains.
just as the english dug their heads into the sand when hitler was arming himself, so are our politicians doing the same with regard to china. if our 'nice' prime minister and his colleagues or should i say soniaji, do not try to solve the problem in nepal, asap, we will have have a huge border to defend. the chinese do not want the whole of india, just an access to the indian ocean.
