India's enemy within
by satyendra chaubey on Jul 05, 2010 02:58 AM

its true but i dont know that how many people are agree with me but its true naxalites are not the enemy but they are been used by some people for there own benifit.
many villages become towns and town became citise how. and after 63 years of independence the government of india and state government of such states got failed to provide a government whom they can trust but they changed them selves from those typical forest gathers to hunters with latest wepons.
who gave them, and for what purpose?

Select good Tribal Leaders to solve naxals among tribals issues
by pramod Ekka on Apr 13, 2010 05:46 PM

Govt must choose tribal leaders to end all naxal menace. Only the tribal leaders will understand the problem of the tribal people. Naxal only exploiting the situation in the name of supporting tribals. At least naxal understood the real issues, but never will they solve the crisis. Super-imposing some leaders with ulterior solutions will not work out. A leader who can live, eat, share with tribals will somehow understand their issues. Governments all through have cheated tribals by taking off their land for industrialisation, mines, and building dams. Now want to come out and look out for solution. What about the lost opportunity of the tribals who lost their land, properties and never compensated properly? Will govt compensate for all the losses occurred since independents. I myself is a tribal. Lost my land to create huge industrialisation. Promised for job, but never received. I'm educated, perhaps better than whose employed there. Majority employed in my displaced land are out sideders. Better not talk about other fellow tribals....Afraid present bunch of politicians will not do this... Better naxal encounter more ambush and kill politicians also. Else govt or politicians will never be awakened.

naxalism

I dont think that both naxels and the RSS are in the same way.Naxals are fighting for the peoples, those were forgoted by the changing governments. So when they work in these areas like the forests with the adivasi's there will be more support for them. When we looks to the villages in the northern part of india the people were in a big hell. They donot have the basic requirements like food, dress etc.In kerala the conditions were better than these areas. So I dont think that naxals are a great problem for india, since they are working for the development of the people

naxalism

i agree with the most of the comments published here., although i tjougth that there is a mix of issues with RSS and other fanatic stuff.
naxalism is a rection, rather ultr-lefterian one. it rose in a stage where, comrades of commnist party felt decieved as their party, fell in to parliamentarian dreams, from already present revelutionary hallucinations. its a social problem.handle it like that, with care, see we have 2 remember, democeacy is not the best choice, but only a better choice available. so its our duty to work towards ending disparities. land reforms and other statutes meant to guarantee justice to the poor are made a comic strip at the hands of the powreful. its our duty to defend democracy in its pure virgin form, when corruption ends, when hegemoney calls a day, when the disparities are minimised, when cleAVAGE BTWEEN haves and have n'ts begin to dimimnish, or when atleast equlaity of oppertunity becomes a reality( art .14)naxalism will defintely end.

Frightening!
by Lak on Dec 01, 2004 03:27 AM

This is really alarming. I have often wondered why is the Indian government, especially the Congress ones (because the Congress has been in power for more than 4 decades) so unprepared and lacking in foresight when it comes to dealing with insurgents? As a result, we have Naxalites in the interiors, the Jihadis in Kashmir, ULFA and Naga rebels in the North-East and God knows what else. We common Indians better wake up and chuck out all the parties that condone or espouse separatism and extremism before our beloved India gets splintered and our grandchildren get states that are mired in poverty, factionalism, terrorism and casteism. United we stand, divided we stand.

RSS and Naxalites in the same boat?
by Mahesh Vartak on Nov 29, 2004 03:32 PM  | Hide replies

Lets not mix issues here. How in the world can anyone take the name of RSS and Naxals in the same breathe? Its ridiculous.
If fighting for your self-esteem is wrong, then surely the RSS is wrong. It is a shame that we have so many spineless hindus amongst us. It is simply amazing how the hindus fight amongnst themselves. Whatever be the issue, whether it is islamic fundamentalism, pseudo secularism, naxalism or whatever, these einstiens somehow manage to link those to the RSS.
Do these bunch of intellectuals even know what RSS stands for before comparing it with naxalism and assesing it as an internal threat? Even Gandhi was impressed with the simplicity of the RSS cadres.
Instead of focusing on the real problem we successfully divert the focus onto something so obscure that what remains is just 'noise'. The naxalites meanwhile go from strength to strength. It beats me no end....how this nation survives!

English Media?
by Mahesh Vartak on Nov 29, 2004 03:18 PM

Its really strange how easily the people of this country can be lead to believe the printed word! The Media decide what ideology, beliefs, leanings the people of this nation will have. And, they are fortunate enough to find a bunch of idiots by the millions in this nation. And as if that was not enough, we have the greedy politicians who would sell the country, if they could.
The English Media has always been baised. It is amazing how the people cannot see through the pack of lies sold every morning. We have had this problem for decades, but nobody seems to bother. How can we let these anti-social elements carry on thier nefarious activities without anyone doing anything about it? We seem to have an army of 10 million and millions in the police force, but we cannot book a handful of these thugs.
These naxalites seem to have lost touch with reality. It is amazing that they cannot see the development going on around them.
I believe there is no point in negotiating with these useless component of the society, they need to be dealt with ruthlessly.
We cannot expect anything from the selfish media. They are in for money making and not for nation building.

'natak' of the naxals
by Dr.Durgaprasad on Nov 26, 2004 11:23 AM

Dear Sir,
The naxals claim that they are fighting for social justice, land reforms in favor of the downtrodden and the poor. But in reality they exploit the gullible village dwellers to push their own agenda that is greed for power and hunger for violence.they claim that they are the real patriots while they join hands with anti indian elements.Marxism and Leninism has failed miserably the world over and India can not afford be an experiment to a failed ideology. The government should not make peace with the people who cant tolerate the idea of developed India. They should be met with full force.
