What example Mr. Singh wants to set?
by Dr. Tirath Garg on May 21, 2004 04:32 PM

Can any body tell Manmohan Singh is resident of which state? He is Rajya Sabha MP from Assam with an address of Dispur. Can he explain with conviction for which time he was resident of Assam in humble truth not to explain his resident status just by technical hassels to get nomination for Rajya Sabha. Not to talk of a National mass base, he does not have a mass base of even one Lok Sabha constituency. If Prime Minister of country gets a Rajya Sabha nomination by manipulated means then what example he has set for the nation to follow. Then why there is fuss over question paper leaks and adopting unfare means to get addmission in institutions or getting jobs for money. Transparency is not only required at high offices but it should be evident because morality at such a high level is of paramount importance for the country. I hope that keeping in view his uprightness and integerity Mr. Manmohan Singh will take the nation in confidence by himself explaining the truth with morally principled standards that how is he a resident of Assam and morally eligible to become MP and then PM. Hope he will clear the mist and stand upright like a true nationalist.
