As all of us realise and agree too that growing population is the root cause for most of the biggest troubles and hurdles in the way to development. Living and experience at China has shown me that 'one child 'policy has been a very successful one ,in controlling wild growth, and thus organising the nation and the development. But as a matter of fact is does have some side effects as well. Must say that being democratic is more developed and sophisticated state government, which we have landed up in India as an accident.Because seemingly ,we have not been able enough to handle it to our advantage. But i think slowly Democaracy has more to do with the open minds and ideas people have in a nation. As found in the given study we need to gear up with a specialised plan to fight with Population growth in the states of UP,Bihar,MP and Rajasthan. What we need now is more serious efforts specially in these problematic and difficult states. We need to make people learn why they need to particiapte in 'family planning'. Dowry system, dependence on the male child, illetracy, caste system are the hidden reasons for highewr growth rate in these areas.

hello really welcome ur message mr.sharma political leaders are not taking a serious action about population. i reallyfelt bad about our leaders selfishness and not taking serious action.
Population can not be controlled unless and untill the indian people do not agree to accept the real truth of poverty and unemployment.Tehy have to think twice over this matter. as far as china is concern we should not think about the method of china. because our culture is different from the china. we are the democratic people we are only aware of our rights instead of thinking about duties.
Thanks for such a wonderful subject. Population growth is mother of all the problems in India. All the diseases like AIDS, and other communicable diseases. I think all the state governments should individually take responsibility to educate their people about disadvantages of having more than 2 children. Mrs. Indira Gandhi and Mr. Sanjay Gandhi started the campaign so many years back, but 80% people paid no attention to it. Therefore, educating people will lead them to control population and controlling population will lead them to take care of health problems.
chaina is developing because of canada.i am in canada.if u see in canada most of the goods are imported from chaina, becasue of cheap labour cost.if india made agreements with other countries like canada,we can improve our ecoinamy and reduce unemployment.that will make big difference.thats what i think will improve our economy and bilatral relations.
The interview happens to be the same way I feel about India's future. Something must be done to improve literacy and economic conditions in northern part while water issues between states should also find a lasting solution. Ofcourse insurgency is a potential threat for modern India. We should worry less about pakis and do more to develop ourselves. States should come together in achieving higher economic growth and job benefits rather than being divided themselves. Let's build our country as a model for democracy and secularism. We are actually doing great....
I think its high time now media has to focus on the population issue.Excatly India has to learn from China. Our politicians they don't have time from religious, caste based politics, development of the country is not their main issue their only issue is to be in power by hook or by crook as long as this continue our popultion will reach to 2billions.
Yes . The answer is a resounding yes . China , as compared to India is way ahead in many a fields . China inspite being the most populated , it is ahead in literacy , it is ahead in developmental programmes , it is ahead in maintaning grip on malaise and to a great extent it is also ahead in securing the minimum needs of the people . Where as India just lags behing all these . It is just now , that is a decade or so , India( politicians) is waking up to the reality that people must be given the basic needs . Literacy campaign has just begun to give initial results . Indian people have by and large have been habituated to , "who cares" attitude and so it is very prudent to say that , India needs strict measures to eradicate this malaise called " population explosion " ,or else the day is not far , when their will be anarchy and chaos all over .
