Dignity of an Indian
by Prasanna on Jul 23, 2004 10:29 AM

Its no use being sanctimonious abt the americans. Problem is we ourselves dont give importance to an Indian or Indian life. Our defence minister was humiliated and there was no reaction. At the least, we should have suspended diplomatic relations. This shames me.

If the message is true and the affected people can show evidences, the Indian government should take it up very stongly and the attrocities must be publicised and the US authorities incharge of this alleged illtreatment must be made to kneel down in shame.

Unushal tales of persons who has worked with US companies
by L Alagan on Jul 22, 2004 12:14 AM

It is astronising to learn about the condition of the Thomas and Co for their contribution and torture they have met. But is it not the responsibilities of the person after landing up at Jordon to ask where they are proceeding to and where they will put up.We are very well having our Embassy at Jordon and Baghdad and they are entitled to refer the matter to them. At the same time world knows Americans are cut throat persons. Before engaging themself, they should be aware of where they are working and which type of fecilities they are provided.Simply after reaching back to India, they should not blame every body and they should be specific. If at all , any particular incident happens they should bring forward the matter to concerned officials at Iraq as well as to the senior officials where they are deployed to.
The main thing Which I want to mention is, trust the person ( Agent ) and leave the country. If not better live in our own place and earn the bread &Butter. Always we should not look for the Govt. to help anybody after drowning themself for no cause.

Horror tales from US camps

How come the so-called Human Rights Activists of USA , are suddenly dumb? Did anyone hear a whimper from them, when their soldiers became worse than animals in their treatment of prisoners & now, non-US workers??
They had lots to say when any other country in Asia or Africa , tries to clean out their country of refugee scum,... that eat into already depleted stocks!
Or is all the fanfare only there to show how 'golden' USA is? How do they treat their own American Indians? their African americans, Asian americans? Hispanics? Is the land of the free only for euro Americans?

But what can you expect from a country run by Jewish $ , Irish mobs & the Mafia? these are the true dictators of USA... the foolish Catholic politicians are merely a facade, & pawns to fool the masses!

American attrocities
by tkr on Jun 26, 2004 05:08 PM

It is once again the American hooliganism outrageously exhibited. Why we Indians have to be blamed in the first place we ourselves denegrade in terms of accepting lowest salaries and squalid working conditions. The writer was in Iraq for sometime and Iraqis were found to be more affable and well behaved people as compared to other gulf countries where most of them are snobbish. Our government lacks the courage to stand up against America. By now everybody knows that it was a macbre
ploy instituted by Bush and his pal Tony Blair to wreak vengeance on Saddam. It is hightime all other nations including the underdeveloped countries stood up and put a stop to such imperialistic policies of the Americans and also the attrocities committed by their military personnel in Iraq.

Malloos
by Ray Seth on Jun 26, 2004 04:50 PM

These people are responsible for bringing the market costs of Indians low. So, well, since they are so used to being tortured and working in pathetic conditions, I think it suits them well.
Why are these Mallooos complaining? They will continue to live in swamps even if paid 1000 dollars a month. Their saving habits are legendary!
