Purge the UN!

I totally agree. UN has become a subversive organization, which while bashing the United States at every turn, wants it to help monetarily whichever way possible. Also while pretending to retain the left-wing agenda it wants subversively to retain the old-europe led power structure which is no longer true in the world.

Yes It would be nice if we can get the UN cleaned up.
But the Intellectuals and the free loaders will go somewhere else and raise their tents and preach once again. It is better to feed the elephant and keep it tied up and ignore it.

The HDP report suggest certain structural changes within societies to be able to offer a more represented sample of diversity. However, the Indian society has been very diverse and represents every section of the society, therefore, we do not have to necessarily implement/adopt those suggestions. I do agree that such an over allowance of freedom of choice will lead to balkanisation of India, which no Indian would ever accept. The HDP report is aimed at countries that are less organsied and lack order and form. Whereas our system of social structures is very dynamic and supersedes any such classification as presented by the UN.

What is the problem?

I dont understand what the author is trying to convey.Should we become more exclusive? Or be racial?

What is wrong with the UN report?

The hollowness of this article is readily apparent. The report basically talks about the freedom of choice to live a life we chose best. And not to be punished for that. But some in our country are only too eager to be told by some hoodlums as to how our life must revolve.

Saudi arabia and the rest of the middle east kingdowm are on the pay roll on western democracies. The minute that democracy is implemented in Middle east, western interests (oil) will be kicked out. This is something they will fight tooth and nail.
So, this whole talk of promoting democracy in middle east is an eye wash.

"When we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle." - Raphael Eitan, Chief of Staff of the IDF, New York Times, 14 April 1983.

I think a beginning should be made with Muslim dictatorships like Saudi Arabia for more inclusive socities. Democracies are by definition more inclusive.

If the experiment succeeds with Saudi Arabia, then other banana republics like Pakistan and Bangladesh should follow.
