We all indians should try and convince all iraqis that we indian are indeed there friend as we have rejected america stand on sending troops to iraq and we have also banned indian peoples to work in iraq on behalf on america. and we should also remember that in saddam hussain rule the flag which was there was designed by a south indian man.
the best diplomatic action now would be for Natwar Singh to fly to Irag with 12-15 of our most dreaded terrorists. It makes sense because it follows established precedent* and our foriegn policy, especially since it pertains to a lot of Nehrus ideals. Also, since Iraq is further away than Kandahar, we should release proportionally more terrorists. Once they reach Iraq and we have withdrawn all our interests in the middle east, we no longer care what they do. That is the best approach in the circumstances.

This act of Iraqies is sickening. If they cannot distinguish between friends and foes, they be damned. Though India and most of us condmned the American and British actions, the present action of the Iraqies makes me wonder whether the Americans are right.
I have seen many people saying the kidnapping of indians should be dealt with iron hands, sending troops to iraq etc. They should also think of the reality that 3 indian lives is at bargain. So people should think what they would do if their relatives or friends is one among the three. Advice is not just for others but also meant for us.
GOI should meet any & all the demands of the hostages.
