Yours was the only news which gave in details the names of the awardees...many were names we did not know...don't nyou think that even the Defence Service Personnel who were given awards should figure in your list of Honors???
I was going through the list of Padma Shri awardees, I found one of the entries as Kandari Gopalnath in the Art-Music_intrtument section. In my view the name should have been "Kadri Gopalnath" instead of Kandari Gopalnath. Sri Kadri Gopalnath is a noted Saxophonist and I'm fan of his. If I've mistaken the name do pardon me.
Ganguly should have been awarded padama bhushan. he deserves it for pulling India out of the mire and made them one of the most formidable ODI And test outfits in World cricket
