Rahul, Priyanka are Indian
by Sudheer on Apr 13, 2004 10:57 PM

I`ve never ever been interested in commenting on articles of Political Significance, but this particular statement of Mr.Mahajan stating that Rahul and Priyanka are not complete Indians almost made fall off my chair. It`s ABSOLUTELY ridiculous and shows the level to which our politicans stoop to gain political advantage. I guess those remarks r more out of fear of the Flamboyant Siblings than anything else.

Rahul and Pariyanka are as Indian as u & I
by shankar bhat on Apr 04, 2004 10:43 AM

Dear Editor,
Going by our constitution, any one born in India is Indian. I do not agree with this. There are so many of "our Indians" who are born here, then migrated to foreign country and never want to return to India. It is because they have been brought up in that country;values and life styles are different. But Rahul and Priyanka have been born in India, they lived as Indian in India. I do not know what is their fault if their mother is from Italy. Had they known it, they may not have allowed their father to marry an Italian.

Itz all rubbish.Mr.Mahajan is sick and needs treatment.

by ms on Apr 04, 2004 12:50 AM

I think its the BJP that keeps on repeating that Congress has no ajenda for the elections...but this kind of cheap mouthing by BJP time and again they keep raising this same ajenda as if there is nothing else left to talk about shows how scared is BJP to lose its long longed power that it got and isnt ready even to contest fairly for. i think BJP is really fallinbg short on ajendas and Mr. Mahajan needs a councellor!

Very good interview.BJP is the party for Aryans. That is why the true Dravidian (Tamilian) parties such as DMK, MDMK &PMK are opposing BJP and its policies

Reference to western democracies
by Sen on Apr 02, 2004 10:05 PM

Often people in BJP quote that in some western countries, those who are not born in a country cannot become a Presient/Prime Minister of that country. Please do remember that whatever the western countries follow does not mean that they are correct.

Offcourse they are cent% Indian
by Anaheeta R. Balsara on Feb 29, 2004 07:54 PM

The BJP & its leaders lost against Sonia the last time when they decided to rake up the issue of 'DAUGHTER AGST DAUGHTER-IN-LAW' when the people expressed the opinion that when married the wife automatically becomes an integral part of the husbands family. Stillthe BJP & its allies think that this part would work as an election ploy, are sadly mistaken as any person who is a citizen of India has the right to assume any political office. In that case why is it that not only is this issue of forgien origin but also that of the children of one foreign parent. In that case then all of us have some parent or the other who is of foreign origin & in that case then non, not even those who are originally from Pakistan which was then a part of India can assume office. This means that only those who stayed in India and who have no mixed blood then be it Aryans, Moguls, portugese, Dutch or English or any other nationality. That could mean thatin the end the only puree blooded Indians could assume office and these could be termed as INDIAN ROYALTY. This whole mess is only election based and a short term phenomenon which will soon tide over.
