feeding them is not enough...NOURISH the kids
by mia on Dec 31, 2004 12:22 AM

I want you to know about Nourish The Children, an initiative that donates meal packages to hungry children around the world. I myself participate in the program.

These food packages are nutrient-dense foods and ideally suited to meet the nutritional requirements of malnourished children.

Nourish The Children is now committed to deliver all meal packages purchased by donators to the Tsunami disaster areas.

tsumani victims rehabilation
by Rama Pokala on Dec 29, 2004 01:21 AM

I felt sock and sad when I learnt about this mammoth disastrous. I am a father of 2.5 year old son and I cant imagine losing my son suddenly. when I think about those parents who lost their kids, my eyes becoming wet and cannot imagine the sorrow their going thru. One suggestion: whatever money we contribute for the victims, definitely help to start their lifes freshly and we also need to help them to come over from that great sadness. we definitely need to take part in the recovery and healing proces of those parents. I pledge to do whatever it takes me to do to help those parents and kids.

People in USA reluctant to contribute
by Tapas on Dec 29, 2004 12:58 AM

A survey on cnnfn.com shows that 65% people who took the poll say that they do not intend to contribute. Only 7% say they already have contributed and 28% say they intend to contribute.

Considering the gigantic tragedy, it is surprising that people in the world's richest economy are reluctant to contribute. In future the world should remember how people in the US are thinking and how attitudes are changing. They are getting more selfish.

Why should any country in the world send troops to support the US in Iraq or anywhere else?
