Men should learn to respect Women
by saji on Aug 21, 2004 01:48 PM

It is hard to digest that women has forced in the sex trade. The Interpol and other Global agencies should trace them and bring them back to the normal life. They should also ensure these kind of activites are put to end. This could be done only if men realise women as human beings and not as an object which gives pleasure. A woman has a heart too, their feelings must not be hurt and they should be respected irrespective of colour, region, language ....etc

vices of being a developed nation?
by vinod on Aug 21, 2004 01:14 PM

if this is how "developed nations" are one will find it extremely difficult to discern the parameters of clasifications of nations into "developed", "developing" and "under-developed". These clasifications appear to be nothing but self conferred recognitions of "greatnesses". However if the conditions of social life is as given in the article it is better that India be "developing" or still better "under developed"

London's Secrets
by C D Pereira on Aug 21, 2004 12:02 PM

This story can hardly be called secret! It only shows that human violence & misbehaviour takes various formsin different cultures. It is time mankind evolved a common code of conduct to eschew exploitation, violence, blackmail etc. Desire to aggrandise is at the root of all evil & avarice is a symptom. If high tech means could be deployed to subdue the adversary commensurate knowledge of human behaviour could be used to engage peacefully strife & so end exploitation violence etc. Do we have the will & wisdom to adopt the enlightened methods?

Sex in the City

Dear Sirs,

Prostitution is not the problem of London itself but it is widely spread over entire universe. In almost all the cities and towns in the world this menace is there. The pathetic situation is that, it cannot be eradicated only to some extent it could be contained. Hence, the solution lies only in making it legalized.

No society could afford to tolerate this problem but the pathetic thing is that it ever existed. By making it legalized, it can solve the problem of sex workers and their exploitation could be checked. Their regular propoer medical check upshould be conducted and it will save generation from so many disastrous diseases, etc.
