This article of Rediff is a life saver for people like us who even after struggling to get a ADmit from Good US universties are faced with an increasing Shortage of asssistantships, and for those lucky few the ordeal of the Visa hangs like a Damocle's Sword.
I would definitely advice all aspiring people to look beyond just one country, Times are a testing , and we cannot afford to spend all our cards at one location.
I am definitely relieved to hear this piece of information what with the ordeal, people like myself and my friends are facing to secure assistant ships leave alone visa's.
Thank You Rediff you have at least shown us an laternate path.
I hope the folks at Yahoo groups are reading this.
