Ariel Murderer

Its unfortunate that we had to invite a murderer like Ariel Sharon as the first Israeli Head of State when others before him were much more eligible statesmen. But whatever happens, its good that we are finally acknowledging our relations with Israel. But we should not compromise on our principled stand of a separate state for Palestinians. Similarly, we should go ahead and talk and trade with Pakistan without letting go off our stand on Kashmir.

It was funny to see people asking for dual citizen ship. One cannot server both God and Mammon, likewise, how can one serve and owe allegience to two states? People ask for this dual role only for personal gains. They don't have the guts to stick to one particular identity.

Dear Vijay,

You can't have the cake and Eat it as well!!! THE TIME HAS COME FOR US TO MAKE A CHOICE, siding with the Israelies will do us well in the long run as we will profit from the following 2 factors:-

1. A superior Surface to air Ballistic Weapon system that can be incorporated intio the Indian army to strengthen our defence against the frequent incursions of the Paki's.

2. an Alliance with Israel with which we can obtain more leaverage with the US as the US and Israel are strong partners. This will make the US less prone to refusing technological transfer to India from other nations.

Lastly, we should not be so naive to expect Pakistan to halt terrorist support to the jehadhis because we are renewing ties with them. As history has proven, they will continue their proxy war .. so we're up against a dead-end there!!

Regards
Luke

JEWS are patriotic when they welcome Sharon?
by Rahman on Sep 11, 2003 01:19 PM  | Hide replies

Here we have a number of Indian Jews openly stating that they harbor a fondness for their 'holy land', Jerusalem, and nobody is raising a brow. But even if the Muslims never say any such thing, it is assumed that they MUST be harboring such feelings!!!! Some equality this.

The team of Archana Masih, Jewella Miranda and Lynette Menezes has done a marvellous piece of research on the contribution of the Indian Jews in our nation building enterprise. The Samsons, the Sassoons and countless other jews over the centuries have rendered useful service and been a part in our national integration program without second thoughts. Long live the Indian Jews. Thanks to Ms.Masih, Ms.Miranda and Ms.Menezes for the article and the lovely pictures.

Atleast they dont go around with rabid hatred towards Hindus, and they dont target women and children in India in the name of religion.
